Chapter two

Chapter two

May 2nd, 2010

-Ella-

I slowly open my eyes and peer over at my digital clock. It read 11:38. I looked around to see who was still sleeping and I only saw Alex playing on her phone. "Where are Harry and Louis?" I asked her.

"Oh! Your up. Uhm they both had to leave at 10." She explained.

"Why?"

"I don't really know, they didn't say."

After we talked and giggld for a little bit we decided we were extremely hungry, because all we had to eat last night was buttery popcorn, and pasta, so we went downstairs for an extremely late breakfast.

We both drag our tired feet down the wooden staircase and into the kitchen. I open the pantry door and show her all the cereal choices.

"Frosted flakes." She says, grabing the cardboard cereal box off the third shelf. She walks over to the kitchen table to eat so I come over to join her. She pours the white milk over the plastic bowl now full of sugar coated corn flakes, and digs her spoon in taking a bite. (I'm so sorry I just said the 's' word.. :-( I had too...)

"Ella Monroe." A very familliarly sassy voice says coming down the stairs. "We are going to be late if we don't leave right now."

I turn around to see my younger sister, Anna, standing at the bottom of the stairs with her hands on her hips. "Late for what?" I ask, completely confused.

"Yesterday you promised me you would help me pick out a prom dress for my first ever prom." She said defiantly. And actually she already had a date to her prom, which reminds me I will probably have to find one as well.

"Sorry, I forgot, i'll need a dress too, so does Alex, can she come too?" I ask both of them for approval.

"Sure." They each take turns saying.

I grab my keys and my phone,"well lets go then."

"But were both still in our pajamas.." Alex protests.

"Right." I say as I drag Alex upstairs and practically force her to change her clothes, while as I also did the same for myself.

"But I don't have my wallet!" Alex argues.

I was kind of questioning whether or not Alex wanted to go anymore.

"I'll buy one for you and you can either pay me back or it will be your birthday present." I explain.

"Present. Now lets go." She says with a very sudden change-of-mind.

We went to two stores before we found 'the perfect dress' for Anna. Its light purple and light blue on the skirt part, which is fairly short, and at the top part its almost white but it has a faded tint of purple with sequins sprinkles around the front. And separating the top and bottom is a bright pink bow. And I must say it looks beautiful on her.

We took it to the cash register to pay for it, then head on out to the next store, which we found dresses for me and Alex. The dresses were similar.

My dress has a white top that fits me perfectly, and the bottom is a bright yellowy green (like that one crayon that looks green but when you draw with it its really actually yellow, the ninja crayon.) and about knee length, separating the two is a light pink belt with a bow attached to it.
