Grimwood ghouls ep 7 


" So...how exactly does this..ritual work ? " elsa asked..clearly now being intrigued by this..rather bizarre game for a sleepover.

" yeah...by dad has done a few of those..hundreds of years ago..and well I'm certain their is sacrifices involved " sibella added..

wilbie just chuckled though.." don't worry..the only sacrifice we need doesn't involve a goat or anything else living if that's what you think " he then held up the choclate bare again." this is all we need...the game won't work if no sweets are about "

" so ? how do we start then ? " tanis said..sounding a little unsure..

" we all need to sit in a circle..turn off all the lights..then say the chant that summos sweet tooth..oh and we must place the chocolate bare in the centre of the circle.." wilbie instructed.

" why is that ? " winnie asked..

" because...after we say the chant...and wait a few minutes..we need to turn the lights back on...and if it worked..the chocolate should be missing..or at least have a big bite take out of it...and if it does..that means we summoned him and he's here.."

every looked around at each other seemingly trying to read everyone's mind, to see if they could guess what they thougt about this....

" also in order this to work we all need to be playing...so no one can sit this out " he said in dark tone...


a few mintues later...

soon enough everyone had gather in the circle in the centre of the room...with the bare of chocolate in front of them..wilbie had shut all the curtains in the room and then made his way over to the fire place..

" alright..were about to begin..any seconded thoughts ? " wilbie grinned..everyone shook their heads in response..

" alright..now remember what the chant was..we can't mess this up at all.." with that wilbie doused the fire in the fireplace letting the room go completely dark.....he then hastily made his way over to the circle and found his spot..

" so...do we start " winnie's voice said in the dark..

" I don't know aobut this " tanis added..

" ah lighten up..it's only a game " winnie responded.."


" shhh..it's time we begin now " they heard wilbie say..." he then cleared his throat..." alright..now fallow along..and lets link hands.."

soon everyone found another hand and were all holding on tightly...once that has been done...wilbie began to speak...

" alright..lets say the chant now....

" The night is here, so now you come.
to feast on treats we, we brought you some,
take a bite of this sugary delight, we place it out
for you have, but take it now, if it does not please
you this very night..then our flesh instead is yours
to bite....."

with that being said all the ghouls and wilbie let go of each others hands as now all they needed to do was wait quietly in the dark..and the only sound being was to be the breathing heard amongst one another..this part was crucial.for not a sound must be madnot a word must be heard..for if their was...then the game would certainly fail..

though after waiting a few minutes..not a sound was heard at all from anything. no sound to alert anyone that the bare of chocolate was eaton or not..

" wilbie...what do we do now ? " phantasma finally whispered...

" wilbie ? " she said again from not hearing his response..

" yo wilbs you with us ? "winnie asked..

nothing however was heard..from him..

" uuh..wilbie are you messing with us ? "tanis asked..her voice a little shaky...

winnie then groweld.." that's it I had enough of this " she whispered harshly as she got up..she then made her way over in the dark and flipped on the light switch.. " wilbie this games is not- "

she cut herself off as she notice two things...one..wilbie was not seen sitting amongst the rest of the girls..and two..the chocolate was missing...

" wilbie ? " winnie said confused..

suddenly winnie felt something tap her on the shoulder....and when she turned around..she got quite the startle as she was met with two yellow eyes staring right at her...two eyes that belonged to a hairy looking creature with sharp fangs..

" ahh ! " winnie let out a small shriek as she fell onto her back...but soon realized..it was nothing more then wilbie..wearing a mask..

" oh boy..that was rich " wilibe's voice said behind the mask as he laughed..

" hey,,what's the big idea ? " winnie said standing up..as the others all had amused smirks on their faces..

" come on win's..it was too funny to resist.." wilbie laughed..as he pushed up the mask...and took a bite of the chocolate..

" wait..you mean you planned this the whole time ? " winnie rolled her eyes..

" hey..you choose scare durning truth or scare..so I new this would be a good opportunity to pull this off " he snickered.." and come on..it was fun you had to admit.."

winnie rolled her eyes.." well it wasn't that scary..also I guess this mean your little sleeover game was bogus all along then..


wilbie just shrugged.." hey..who knows..we may still receive a visit from sweet tooth " he laughed as he continued to eat the chocolate bare..

" that was good one I admit " sibella said getting up.." though still, what else could we do now, the night is still quite young.."

"oh hey we could go outside and howl at the moon until dawn " winnie suggested..though that all just got raised eyebrows from everyone..

" what ? it's traditional in my family ? "

"oh I got it ! how about we try out our Makeover skills on one another...." sibella grinned and folding her arms..

" ooh yeah ! That sounds great " phantasma exclaimed.

" yeah now that sounds like a lot of fun " tanis agreed.." I can finally practice my hair braiding

wilbie though rolled his eyes to this , not exactly liking the sound of that one bit , specially sense that being one of the reasons he did not like the idea of attending a sleepover in the first place...

" uh yeah..look you girls can go ahead and do that..I think I'll sit this one out " he said as he made his way over to the couch..which just caused all the others to giggle..

" hey need to worry..though I'm sure we can make this work out for you as well " sibella said rubbing her chin...she then turned to the others.." alright who want's a new do over first.." she said..


" a little while later....

as the girls pratices and gave each other makeovers, wilbie sat on the couh with Barbra on his shoulder as they both read one of his other comics,

" hey that's not a bad look at all " Phantasma said as he looked in a small hand held mirror..having her hair done up in a new fashion, featuring a braided pony tale. that was done up by tanis...

" thanks. glad you like it " tanis said with a giggle..

even winnie was letting sibella give her appearance a now look, though one requested more to her fitting

" hold still winnie..I need to get this done right " sibella said as she tried to paint her Claws a shade of dark blood red....

" well be careful with them..they mean a lot to me " winnie complained.."

" it's nail polish ? " sibella arched her eyebrow..

" I know..but you can never be to careful with these natural daggers..but I must say..these spiked bracelets are looking awesome.." she said as she examined the ones she had around her wrists...

" Hey how long am I supposed keep this own..? " Elsa said as she had her hair in curlers and a mud mask on her face with cucumber slices..

" give it another minute " sibella said not taking her eyes off winnie's claws..


" Girls " wilbie said as shook his head as he continued to read his comic..

shortly after they were all done having done each others hair and make up. they all exmmeind themselves by passing around the mirror..

" excellent job..i say we did.." if this was a beauty school I'd say we'd all get A pluses.." sibella giggled..

" well..I say my look is best here..sense it resembles that of the Hex girls " winnie said baring her fangs and approving of her more gothic look compared to the others who where more girlish in a sense..

" well it's all in ones' personal taste..not mine I'd say..but it suits you for sure " sibella said..

" well that certainly was fun.. " phantasma said giggling..

" Indeed...though what she'd would do next ? " Elsa said...

it was then sibella grinned.." you know I never did give a male A makeover before..and well..much less a human." sibella said in a hinting tone.." and motioning over towards wilbie..

wilbie heard his names be mentioned as he peeked up from his comic..and saw the girls snickering..

" oh is that so..." Elsa said crossing her arms.."


" what ever you have planned..Don't even bother " wilbie said not looking away from his comic..

" aah gee come on wilbe..it'll be fun..let us try one little makeover " Phantasma said..

" yeah why not..I think..it'll be fun. " tanis added...

" what ? no way.. if you don't know..I'm a boy... and being such..I really don't do those kinds of thing.." wilbie said setting down his comic..

" but it's something we never tried before..we promise you'll like it " sibella said..

winnie then spoke up " yeah trust me..if I can handle one..you could too.." she nodded.."

" yeah come on..it'll be fun " Elsa winked..

wilbie sighed as he rolled his eyes..knowing that this was probably going to happen wither way..." Fine..but nothing girly...or anything fancy...just remember what those Langley's put me through.." he said in a dead serious tone. as he got up with barbra still on his shoulders...

all the girls chuckled.." don't worry nothing of the sorts....I think we'll give you the perfect look..something that'll fit you.. "sibella said as she pulled up a chair for him to sit down on..

" well I think I look perfectly fine thank you.." he said as he dragged is feet over to it and took a wear seat..

wilbie sighed again as he prepared himself for whatever they had planned..

" alrighty then.." let's start with that hair of yours " sibella said as she and phanty were holding up a comb and other hair care products....

wilbie's eyes widen at that..mainly sense he had reluctantly let the ghouls style his hair a few time before..it being staple they seem to enjoy doing..so now that he was letting them give him a full out do over..he was not liking the sound of it....but before he could protest..it had already begun...soon enough the girls had began to get straight to work on it..much to wilbie's slight horror.


All while matches who was watching from afar on the couch..matches who had a smug grin on his face...clearly enjoying wilbie's displeasure in this...

after many long minutes of the girls each trying to find a style they thought looked good on him, with even his trusted pet spider betraying him, having grabbed a comb in her pinchers and helping them style up his hair...it was not too long after they had settled on something...

" their that should just about do it.." sibella said standing back with the others with Barbra now residing on her shoulder at the moment..

" do I dare look ? " wilbie asked..

" not yet you don't..not until we finshed off with the rest of you " she said with a wink to the others..

Wilbie gulped..as he then saw the ghouls produce a kit of dark coloured makeup..

a few minutes later...


" and now..complete.." sibella said admiring her work..." what do you think ? " she turned to the others..

" turning out pretty good I say " phantasma chuckled..

" yeah..totally a awesome "winnie said giving a thumbs up...

sibella nodded.." thought so..alright now kindly get up and have a seat on this..." sibella said pointing over to a pillow on the floor..

wilbie stood up not sure what to expect now but he took a weary a rather reluctant step over to it and sat down..
sibella then set down next to him.." alright..now give me your hand please " she said extending hers..

wilbie did so..though still not too sure about it..he knew he was in the right when she produced a bottle of black nail polish..

" alright...just hold still....at least better then winnie " she said smirking at her...to which she just rolled her eyes...

wilbie just watched on as she painted each of his finger nails until they were all black...and then she moved onto his other hand..and once she was done that,..she instructed him to take off his shoes. so she could do the same for his feet..he rather reluctantly did that as well..and once he did,she started on each of his toes until they were all the same coat of black as well..


" now..I think that just about does it " said said looking as though she was an artist observing her canvas.which pretty much is how it was really..

" okay so we'll let the paint dry now..but are you now ready to see how you look " she said

wilbie sighed.." I want to say yes and no at the same time " he muttered a little..

sibella giggled as she then handed him a small hand held mirror...wilbie took it and gave himself a look...his eyes widen a little at what he saw..not form horror or anything like that mind you..but because what he saw...was not bad in his eyes at all...he looked as those he was some sort of goth slash punk singer...his hair was spiked up a bit..and he had dark black eyeliner, and eye shdow around his eyes,.as well as having spiked bracelets around his wrist similar to the ones winnie was wearing..combine that with his now black painted nails..

" so..what do you think ? " sibella said eager to hear his response..

" I..I...it looks... petty great " he said a little stunned..

" told you we'd find a good look for you.." Phantasma giggled..

" yeah you and winnie look could start a band " tanis laughed..

" though we had trouble with the hair the most " sibella added.." but we got around it , and sense both you and winnie are such fans of the hex girls I figured it'd looked great..

shortly after that the ghouls decided to play another game though not after they decided to give matches a little makeover as well when they called him over..one which he wasn't too please with and decided to take his business elsewhere for the night.. , right after phantasma decided to take some photo's of course..though as they prepared for the next game..a heavy rain was begging to pour outside.. and the distance sound of thunder was heard..

" sounds like a storms approaching...neat " winnie said looking out the window....

" ooh..I hate storms though "tanis said sounding worried..

" oh it's nothing to worry about..it'll pass right over I bet " sibella reassured.." now come on let's play the next game..it's the one game we all know about.." sibella said with another hinting tone..both tanis and winnie turned to her..

" do you mean ? " winnie said..

" yes..the spinning bottle of fate " sibella said in a rather dark tone..

" oh dear.." winnie gulped...

" well I'd rather play this game then deal with a thunder storm " she said as a loud clap of thunder rumbled in the distance causing her to jump a little and hide behind sibella..

" heh heh..well let's start then shall we...

soon everyone began gathering around the circle again...all except wilbie who was a little confused....

" um..what is..the spinning bottle of fate ? " he itched his head ?

everyone chuckled.." Only the most feared game any ghoul play at a sleepover.." winnie grinned..

" yeah...it decides the fate of any one of us.." phantasma spoke in dark and creepy tone..

wilbie looked around..." uuh...fate..what sort of fate ? "

Elsa chuckled.." just take a seat and you'll see "

with that wilbie joined the ghouls in their gaming circle as they all awaited for sibella was busily fetching something..
she soon returned holding a chest...

" alright ghouls and boys.." she said eyeing up everyone..." the time had come..for our fate to be decided this very night.." sbilla spoke in a tone as though she was leading a cult in a sacred ceremony ,,

" tonight this bottle you see before you " she said pointing to an empty glass bottle in the centre of the them." will decided who has to wait out the rest of this night..in one of the most horrible devices known to anyone..a device so awful , so foul..those who wear it..will wish to have a stake driven through their heart...those very things to cause such a wish is in this here chest.." she said patting the top of it..

wilbie looked around a little confused and slightly concerned...but just went along with what ever was going on...

" arlight..when I spin this bottle..it will eventually stop any of us, and when it does..that person will have to endure..this ! " she said presenting what was inside the box....just as a clap of thunder lit up the room..reviling what was inside the box...which was a pair of Fuzzy Pink bunny slippers...one that no peson would probably ever be caught wearing..with the dopey buck tooth grins on their faces..


everyone shuttered when they saw them..

" ugh..now that's a nightmare " winnie winced...

" wait ?..this is a game ghouls play at sleepover ? " wilbie asked..

" oh yes..it's one of the most classics. " phantasma said..

" I've played it twice already " tanis said sound as though that was a brave feat...

" um..okay.." wilbie itched his head..

" oh and did we mention..the slippers have a spell on them..meaning that they can't be removed by the wearer until morning.." winnie grinned evily..causing wilbie to nervously chuckle...

" oh...heh heh..

soon enough sibella had took a seat at the circle..and grabbed the bottle..." alright..here it goes.." she said as she quickly gave the bottle a spin. as everyone watched in anticipation, the bottle spun for almost a minute before it bagan to slow down..

winnie had he fingers crossed and eyes closed..as phantasma was just silently chuckling away,...

soon the bottle came to a stopp as everyone gasped....

" elsa " sibella said raising her eye in smug grin...

Elsa sighed as she saw that the bottle had indeed stopped on her..

" alright let's just get this over with " she said as loud clap of thunder rumbled.. around the whole house..
soon Elsa was sporting the two fuzzy bunny slippers...

" well three years and still going strong then " winnie said cossing her arms..

" oh just you wait till next year " Elsa said..as she got up and walked away. the bunny slippers emitting a loud squeak with each step she took..causing winnie to snicker..

" well glad it's not me this year " phantasma laughed..


suddenly another loud clap of thunder rumbled the house again as the wind and rain began to pick up causing the shutters to shake rabidly..

" okay..that storm is really hitting hard now " tanis said shaking a little..

" Well...at least this means I can have that homemade lighting rod transfer electricity into the lap " Elsa said taking on sat on the arm chair..though just as she did...all the lights in the house went out..leaving everyone in the dark...

" yeah that rod sure is giving some electricity " winnie laughed..

to which Elsa just sarcastically laughed...


" Uh..c-can we do something to fix that ? " tanis's shaky voice said..

" oh theirs nothing to worry about tanis..it'll pass right over like I said..and then the power will come back on..here I'll get the fire going again.." sibella said as she made her way over to the fireplace...

though just as she was..a large shadow emitted on the wall behind her as she did..caused by lighting...one that no one knew they caused as it looked liked none of theirs...


sibella turned around as she saw everyone looking at her with shocked expressions..

" what are you all looking at ? " sibella said a little confused..

" did you see that ? their was something casting a large shadow on the wall.." Tanis pointed a shaky finger..

to which sibella looked over at the wall but course saw nothing..." look don't start getting all spooked out because of the storm " sibella said shaking her head..as she knelt back down to light the fire. once she did the room was casted with a eerie orange glow again....

" well with no power..I guess this would be a good time to tell...scary stories " winnie grinned baring all her teeth while biting a cold leftover slice of Pizza...
