Seeing those same grey eyes I had seen not too long ago from my father right before he got killed I looked away from the mirror tears running down my face, My dad would still be here if only I would have been here if only I would have gotten home sooner I thought to myself as I threw what was left of my belongings into my car I got into my car and drove away from what use to be my home where all my childhood memories where made. After driving for what seemed like hours I finally seen a sigh saying 'Welcome to Trevor', Trevor was a small town where my family and I stayed for a little over a year after the hurricane in our home town. It had been ten years since I came to visit my cousin but since then she had moved away to New York with her husband Chase, my dad had bought a house and some land when we stayed here so that's where I was headed. Driving through town I decided to stop at the old restaurant my dad use to take me whenever he came home from the work, I pulled up and got out i just stood there staring thinking back seeing his big smile a tear rolled down my face "Straighten up Kelly" I said as I wipe my face. I opened the door and walked in, it still looks the same I thought looking around at the booths and arrangement of fake daisies in the middle of them, I sat down in the booth my dad and me always sat at as soon as I sat down I heard someone across the room "Long time no see stranger" I looked up and my friend bailey was just smiling harder than i ever seen her smile. Bailey was one of my close friends when my family stayed here. She came over to my table and sat right in front of me."Haven't seen you in along time,How come you ant called or facebooked or something" she said when a playful look. "I've just been going throught" She put her down and quietly said "I'm sorry about you Dad, I seen it on the News" I just keep staring at the table in silence then i looked up at her a smiled," Thanks Bailey it really means alot to me it was nice catching up with you heres my number I'm going to get settled in got alot to do." She looked up at me with a sad look in her eyes but then she preped up when I smiled. "So you going back to that big house on the hill" she laughed. "Yeah, Im going back to the house on the hill again you can always come hang out i get settled,if your still not chicken about it l" I laughed. Bailey used to be so scared to come to my house that she would always make me come to the driveway and meet her so I could comw to her house instead, she thinks theres a curse or something on it because of my mom, my mom always seemed abit off before she left she told me to always be prepared for the supernatural but I thought anything of it and still don't but bailey heard her say it and she was scares since. "No, I'm not scares anymore but it still freaks me out" she laughed. "Okay well text me and we will set it up" I gave her a hug and left to go to the house i havent seen or been in in years.
