Some days have passed since Fatima last seen Zac and she kinda hate it cause he haven't hit her up or anything. Janiyah is currently sick and been staying home from school. It's Wednesday morning and Fatima is going to try to get her to go to school.
"Ni get up, you have stayed home for 2 days straight." She says entering her room. "No mom I still don't feel too good." Ni said putting her head under the covers.
"Okay since you're so sick tell me what's wrong." Fatima said sitting on the end of her bed. It was silence for awhile. "Exactly. Be ready in 20 minutes."
Fatima went to her room and got ready for her day. She went downstairs to make breakfast for Ni. 10 minutes later Ni was walking downstairs with a frown.
"Smile baby I made you breakfast."
"Thank you or whatever." Ni says sitting down at the island.
"I got a question." Fatima said putting her plate in from of her. "What's up?" Ni says putting her book bag down to eat.
"Are you gay?"
Ni eyes widen. "Why would would you think that, i'm straighter than your hair."
"Not too much on my silk press, it's time for a new one." Fatima says rolling her eyes.
"Yeah long over due for that. I'm driving and can we leave now I got things to do." Janiyah says getting up and heading outside.
Fatima gets her things and locked up. She headed to the car, Zac was calling her name and running towards her. "Hey stranger." She says.
"I'm a stranger now?" He says opening her door. "Here you go."
"Thank you and yes you're indeed a stranger. You haven't called or texted me."
"My bad, what you doing tonight?"
"Nothing much, how about you?"
Putting her purse in the car. "Mom can you hurry up? You can text him while we're on the way." Ni says annoyed.
"That's a good idea, just text me." Zac says walking off.
"You're so rude. What's wrong with you?" Fatima says getting in the car. "Ma i'm not in the mood." Ni says annoyed putting the car in drive.
Fatima left it alone and put her seatbelt on. Ni had some stops to do and made her way to school. Fatima got the car back and headed to work. While at work Fatima got a phone call from Zac.
"Hey Zac." Fatima says closing her office door.
"Hey Fatima, you busy right now?"
"Well I am at work."
"Oh yeah, I can just call you back."
"No no it's fine, what's up?"
"I wanna take you out."
"Like a date?"
"Yeah, i'm asking you out. I mean that's if you're single."
"Okay, what you do you have in mind?"
"It's a surprise. Is Saturday good for you?"
"Yeah, what time and what should I wear?"
"Anything is fine, you always look beautiful anyway."
