Jovenal: A young man, walks by, looking lost.
Jea: A young woman,walks by, looking for someone.
(Cristy is engrossed in her book and Jovenal walks by, looking lost and confused. He stops and stares at Sarah for a moment before approaching her.)
Jovenal: Excuse me, do you know where the library is? I'm new in town and I'm trying to find it
Cristy: (Startled, she looks up from her book.) Oh, sorry, I was lost in my book. The library is just a few blocks down that way. (She points in the direction of the library.)
Jovenal: Thanks! I'm Jovenal, by the way
Cristy: Cristy. Nice to meet you, Jovenal
Jovenal: (He smiles.) Nice to meet you too. I'm actually looking for a book on... well, it's a bit embarrassing
Cristy: (Intrigued, she leans forward.) What is it?
Jovenal: I'm trying to learn how to express my feelings. I've been crushing on this girl for months, but I'm too scared to tell her how I feel
Cristy: (She laughs.) I understand. It's tough
Jovenal: Yeah, it is. I just don't know what to do
(Jea walks by, looking for someone. She stops and stares at Jovenal and Cristy, her eyes widening in surprise.)
Jea: Jovenal? Is that you?
Jovenal: (He turns around and sees Jea. His face lights up.) Jea! What are you doing here?
Jea: I was looking for you. I saw you on the bus this morning and I thought you were someone I knew
Jovenal: (He looks at Cristy, then back at Jea.) This is Cristy. Cristy, this is Jea
Cristy: (She smiles politely.) Nice to meet you
Jea: (She looks at Cristy, then back at Jovenal.) You know, I think I know why you're looking for that book
Jovenal: (He blushes.) What do you mean?
Jea: I've been watching you. You've been looking at Cristy all day
Jovenal: (He looks at Cristy, then back at Jea.) Oh, no, I..
Cristy: (She laughs.) It's okay, Jovenal. I'm not offended
Jea: (She smiles at Cristy.) I think you're both really cute together
Jovenal: (He looks at Cristy, his eyes filled with hope.) You do?
Cristy: (She looks at Jovenal, her heart beating faster.) Maybe
Jovenal: (He takes a deep breath.) Cristy, I... I think I'm falling for you
Cristy: (She smiles.) I think I might be falling for you too
(Jovenal and Cristy look at each other, their eyes locked. Jea smiles and walks away, leaving them alone on the bench.)
Jovenal: (He takes Cristy's hand.) So, what do you say? Will you go out with me?
Cristy: (She smiles.) I'd love to
(They kiss together )
