POV:
"WHAT TIME IS?" Maya jumped up from the couch, frantically.
"11:30...why?" Lia said. "SHIT! I promised Tony I'd be home to make up for missing his birthday." Maya said looking for her underwear. "Just tell him you got caught up." Lia said not wanting her to go. Maya checked her phone.
"FOURTEEN MISSED CALLS?!" Her eyes widened. she was cooked! "Ha! Meena thinks you're dead!" Lia laughed.
"That's not fucking funny!" Maya snapped.
"...Okay! Just go! I'll straighten up." Lia said button her pants back.
Maya pulled her into a kiss! A passionate one! "Thank you!" She smiled.
"You're welcome! Now get!" Lia smacked her ass! "Okay! Okay! I love you!" Maya said without thinking.
Lia froze for a second...
"Love you too!" She said back. Maya pulled her in for one more kiss. This time lia slipped her tongue in her mouth. "mmm...lia..." Maya said, softly.
"Sorry..." Lia said pulling away. Maya groaned. "Don't get mad...I'll see you tomorrow." Lia winked. Maya blushed heading for the door.
She didn't want to go but she had to! On her way home she text Meena back letting her know that she was okay.
"TONY!! HONEY, IM HOME!!" Maya yelled shutting the door. She turned the light on in the living room and there he was...waiting.
Maya's eyes shot down to the bottle of gin on the table. "Tony...I-" Maya began to speak.
"Don't...just don't!" He stopped her. "Two weeks ago you came through that door and made love to me like I was the best man in the world." Tony said. Maya froze not knowing where this was going.
"July 29th...that night you and a staffer worked late. I don't know which staffer but you worked late." He continued.
Maya had tears welling in her eyes. This couldn't be happening...not right now!
"Were you thinking about him that night?" Tony asked her.
"No! No! No! I wasn't thinking about anybody! Tony, I love you!" Maya cried and he shook his head. "No, you don't! You don't love me anymore." Tony said.
Maya began to bawl her eyes out right then. She dropped to her knees, crying. Tony knew her cries...this one had more of an ache. He never seen her break down like this since the passing of her mom.
"M-Ma-Ma-Maya?" Tony asked.
"Everything is going wrong! This isn't what I wanted for us! My job is tearing us apart piece by piece!" She cried.
Tony looked her not knowing what to say. "I understand if you wanna leave me...I don't deserve you." She said and Tony eyes widened in disbelief. "What the hell are you talking I'm not going away!" He said.
"I've treated like crap these past couple of months, Tony! I know that because you always throw it in my face when you get mad at like just now! AND I CANNOT BELIEVE YOU ACCUSED ME OF CHEATING!" Maya yelled causing Tony to jump.
"And you still didn't answer me..." He whispered under his breath, thinking she didn't hear it.
He felt a sting across his face just then. "Ouch!" He held the side of his face. "Shut up! I'm telling you this one time and one time only Derek Anthony West...I HAVE NOT CHEATED ON YOU!" She yelled.
After that she turnt on her heels, heading upstairs.
Leaving Tony standing there....speechless!
