- Jewish with Romanian & Russian Heritage

• Caryn Romanoff Grinberg [Pines] immigrated to America after WWII by suggestion of her late-father, Duke Grinberg, in fear of anti-Jewish sentiment in Russia. She settled in Teaneck, New Jersey, before marrying Filbrick, taking the Pines' name, and moving to the town over — Glass Shard Coast.

• Conservative Judaism: Movement in which seeks to preserve essential traditional elements of Judaism but allows room for modernization, inspired by Reform Judaism.

• Only Stanford and Sherman [By Extension: Children & Grandchildren] practice Judaism. Stanley lost faith in G-D when he became homeless. Despite this, Stanford still invited him to visit for Chanukah after being kicked out.

- Identifies as Bisexual [Aromantic to Women]

• Stanford came to realize his same-sex attraction in University after developing feelings for Fiddleford McGucket, his roommate.

• Due to Stanford's strict upbringing and America's [1970s] stance on Homosexuality, Stanford took until his mid-twenties to admit this fact to anyone.

- On & Off relationship with Fiddleford McGucket based on circumstance. They're dating [2013] and plan to marry each other one same-sex marriage becomes legalized in America.

• Calls themselves unofficial-official husbands.

• Had to break-up after university because of Fiddleford's family not approving of their relationship. McGucket rekindled their relationship after a particularly nasty divorce, and dated Stanford until his presumed demise / AKA being sucked into the portal.

- Stanford is Disabled

• Uses a wheelchair & Crutches since he's is diagnosed with ME/CFS and dealt permanent damage to legs.

• Stanford is Autistic and has Complex PTSD.
