CERAMIC LINED BALL VALVE FOR CONTROL
SUNYEH
The Sun Yeh 900T ceramic lined ball valve, designed for on-off operations, incorporates a precision ceramic ball fully enclosed within its structure. This design, similar to ceramic lined on-off ball valve applications, allows for versatile functions, including both shut-off with a ball valve shut off valve and regulation capabilities. The Zirconia ceramic lined ball valve is capable of effectively regulating flow with ball valves for flow control and controlling shut-off with a ball valve shut off valve in extremely corrosive environments containing abrasive solid particles.
CHARACTERISTICS OF CERAMIC LINED BALL VALVE FOR CONTROL
The Sun Yeh ceramic lined ball valve for flow control utilizes a three-piece design structure, enabling the ball and seat to achieve free centering. The pressure differential generated by the fluid passing through the ceramic lined ball valve secures the ball onto the downstream seat, offering resistance to wear, corrosion, high temperatures, and crushing.
Thanks to ceramic lined ball control valves three-piece design and symmetrical structure, the ceramic lined ball valve not only boasts dual sealing but also lacks flow direction restrictions. Should one end of the seat wear out, the ceramic ball valve can be rotated 180 degrees during installation, utilizing the sealing on the opposite end, effectively doubling its lifespan. The actuator's quick connection is facilitated through the bracket interface, conforming to the IS05211 size standard.
The Sun Yeh 900T series ceramic lined ball valve for flow control features a floating ball design, ensuring minimal torque. The ceramic lining ball valve's forged steel body, as seen in products like the alumina ceramic lined ball valve, provides protection and can be coated with epoxy resin or nylon to meet color identification and corrosion resistance requirements. Similar to the stainless steel housing, the ceramic lined valves withstand exposure to highly corrosive environments without degradation. The ceramic lined valve securely encloses the ceramic components, preventing any potential damage. Pipe forces are absorbed by the housing rather than transferred to the ceramic due to all flange bolts being directly connected to the housing.
The robust ceramic body fully encloses the valve ball, acting as a pressure vessel when paired with the seat, thus ensuring that corrosive media does not contact any external metal components.
The corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant ceramic valve ball offers O-rings and various V-shaped options, such as V-notch valve and V-port valve, to meet the requirements of various applications such as quick opening, linear flow, parabolic flow, and equal percentage regulation.
The wear-resistant ceramic valve seat, with its inherent self-lubricating properties and good arc sealing. The ceramic ball valve not damaged by trapped solids. It effectively addresses the shortcomings of metal hard-sealed balls prone to leakage, high torque, and sealing surface wear from corrosive abrasion.
Ceramic-to-ceramic sealing ensures a perfect match between the ceramic ball and seat, guaranteeing long-term leakage grade VI or better closing with the ball valve shut-off valve or regulating performance.
The thick and robust ceramics exemplify a well-engineered ball valve control valve design. By employing sturdy, thick-walled ceramic components, the ceramic lined ball control valves outlast coated or PTFE/PFA valves significantly in continuous service.
V PORT BALL VALVES FEATURES AND TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS
Characteristics of V-port ball valves
A V-port ball valve (V-port ball valve) is a special type of ball valve with a V-shaped internal passage. This design gives the V-port ball valve unique advantages in fluid control, especially in regulating flow and preventing cavitation. The following are some of the key features of V-port ball valves:
