AUTHOR'S NOTE

Okay now back to the story. Since I've made things a little it complicated now (I apologize), here's a little recap.

Greg baffled the group by announcing the Laxens assumed arrival. Sebastian, Anushka had prior knowledge about. The Laxens offer the Fallen a place in the Judgement Council, which becomes a threat for the Angels. Nicolas, however, refuses to share any information. Anushka too, due to the confidential agreement is forbidden to talk about it. Sebastian, becomes the source of information. He informs that the Laxens have declared battle on the Vampires and in preparation for this, the Vampires wish to devour Purebloods, and Madhulika is the only known Pureblood. After hearing the prospect of being eventually eaten, Madhulika begins to distrust Sebastian.

(MADHULIKA 'S POV)

Some aquaintance Sebastian turned out to be. I remember what Nicolas had told us in the beginning. He said that hurting a Guild member was a punishable offense, one nobody would tolerate. The whole purpose of forming a circle was to gain security and power. In a world inhabited and dominated by humans, Supernatural beings have it tough. Thus circles were a perfect way of protecting ourselves. Besides, the ancient rule states that, if one member of the circle is to die, the Circle will break. The power would all she lost.

But here Sebastian was, scheming to feed me to his friends. When he'd saved me from the Vampire chick, I was convinced that he wouldn't hurt me. But apparently I was wrong.

"Madhulika?" Sneha asked. I didn't reply, I was burning with a hatred so deep and dark and consuming, it was like an abyss of dark feelings. I've, never before I my life, been betrayed so badly. Even if not as a friend, but out of general morality, he shouldn't have...

"Madhulika?" Sneha tried again. I ignored her. If I answered, we would definately end up fighting. She hadn't done anything, she didn't deserve to hear my crap.

"I'm going out for a while." I spoke though clenched jaws.

As I closed the door, I heard my friends whispering.

"I've never seen her this angry." Sneha shook her head.

"But it's a given right? After what she heard? True it might not be Sebastian's intention to hurt her, but he must've at least considered it."said Anushka.

"Yeah ture. But still, I can only imagine how betrayed she must be feeling." Anannya put in.

I didn't need to hear anymore. Their conversation only made me angrier. I know what they said was right, but I was just so f***ing pissed off.

I walked in the silent breeze, unconscious heading towards the library. It was my 'get away' spot. As I climbed the steeds to the library, I spotted a figure. I knew damn well who it was. He traitor! I knee he'd seen me, he opened his mouth to call out but by then I'd already entered the library. I waited a moment to see if he followed. He hadn't. Sighing a breath of relief, I relaxed.

I ran my hands on the spine of books, recollecting my shattered thoughts. Mindlessly, I went through the books. It was a monotonous routine, one I didn't mind. I brought piece to my mind.

I was wondering in the History Of Magic section when a title caught my eye. It read 'Inscrutable Myths and Mysteries Unveiled.'
I flipped though the pages, On one page there was a picture of one of the most fear invoking creatures I'd ever seen. On the top, in neat handwriting was written 'Laxens'. I gulped. I'm finally stumbled upon the answer to our problems.

Out of nowhere Mrs. Smith appeared form behind me. She'd startled me.

"Yes?" I asked. She had on a very stern look on her face.

"That book is not to be touched." She sliced he book out of my hands. In that moment I wonder what had happened to the sweet fifty year old Mrs. Smith? Had she been abducted? Was this woman standing in front of me a imposter? And if yes, what had happened to the real Mrs. Smith. The woman I knew was sweet, kind an Incapable of harboring any other feeling than love. Seeing her with such an expression gave me the gibbers. That school must really not want to us to know about this stuff.

"I wonder how this got here." She seemed truly perplexed. Not wanted to be creeped out further, I excused myself.
