Snow-covered roads and snowmen stand in front of nearly every residence, each home resounding with laughter and joy. Just like the others, our house brims with happiness and delight. The children are engrossed in games on their mobiles, mothers busy in the kitchen, fathers in the lounge sipping wine, grandmothers knitting away, and the young adults are absorbed in reading books or crocheting. During all the commotion someone walks into the house only to be hit by a ball on her face. "Ow!" She exclaimed rubbing her forehead "Liam!" Her 8-year-old nephew sticks his tongue out licking his lips and looking down in remorse. "How many times do I have to tell you not to play inside the house with a ball!" She scolds him slightly. "Sorry" Liam apologized cutely, she kneeled to his level and held him by his shoulder "Don't repeat it, okay? Haerin-ie's sorry too~" she said patting his shoulder as he ran off nodding his head. She greets everyone in the living room and then visits the kitchen to see all the aunts and her mother Chit-Chatting while cooking. "Hey there ladies~ your ladylove is here!" She winks as all the others laugh at her playful Character. "Wow, now you guys are laughing at me? I'm hurt" She pouts. "Alright Ms. Pouty go get your cousins and nephews to the table" said her mother. "Those little demons are hard to pursue" She groans and leaves the Kitchen. She got all the kids to be seated at the table except for one, Satan himself. "Jihoon!" She called out for the 12-year-old boy who was busy gaming on his mother's phone. "Just a few minutes please, I'm almost winning this round" He said focused on the phone, Haerin sat down beside him peeking into the phone "What are you playing?" She queried curious. "It's a Zombie Game, It's very interesting and I can't seem to move my eyes away from it" He said focused totally on the game. "Put the same focus on your books or else you will fail and how will Narin like you?" She teases. Narin was the only girl Jihoon found cute and the only girl he spoke to from his class. "Will she find me cute if I get good marks?" He asked turning the phone off, he won the game so he turned it off. "I can't say she will find you cute just if you get good marks but it will make a good impression on you and that's a plus point" She shrugs. "Don't do this to me" He pouts. "Focus on your studies first then we will think about Narin okay?" She ruffles his hair. "Alright~" Jihoon got off the couch and stood beside her. "Let's head to the table, shall we? They were about to head to the table when the main door opened revealing her uncle. He was covered in blood stains. Looking at him in such a condition everyone was concerned. "Uncle! What happened?? Are you okay? You're covered in blood!" Haerin asked concerned. "I'm fine, it's not my blood.. there was a car that had accident no one was around to help so I helped the person in the car and called an ambulance" He explained relaxing all of them. "Glad that you're safe, but what about them, are they okay?" asked Haerin's Father. "Well, they were unconscious but I hope they will be fine" He feels bad for the man in the accident, he was probably driving home with presents for his family members.. "You should go change honey, you're drenched in blood" His wife, who arrived two days earlier suggested. Nodding his head he left to change his clothes and freshen up. After he's done he was wiping his hair when he notice a scratch on the side of his palm. "When did this happen?" He stares at it and left for the dinner.
