~~~Hudson's pov~~~
A few minutes after she leaves I text Lexi letting her know I'll see her after a bit and head to my parents.
I need to tell them about what happened with Kelly and where to go from there.
My dad is good friends with some lawyers and my uncle is a retired PI so I'll need all the help I can get if she's going to try to get custody.
You're probably gonna think I'm stupid because full custody right before she left.
At the moment I am because if I had full custody I wouldn't have to worry, but she could also be pulling her normal bullshit.
Back when Piper was a baby Kelly and I had a really big fight and she threatened with custody when she wasn't getting her way so it might be the same thing again.
Something is telling me there's more to Kelly showing back up so I'm gonna see if my uncle Patrick can look into her.
It's pays to have a retired PI as your uncle.
I already texted my parents letting them know I was coming over since something happened with Kelly.
My mom took the girls to go shopping so my dad and I could talk.
When I get to the house I see a few cars in the driveway.
My uncle's car and my dad's friend Paul who's a lawyer.
Dad knew.
I open the front door and hear their voices in the kitchen.
"Hey guys" I announced when I walked into the kitchen.
Dad stood up and came over to give me a hug. "You ok?" He asked.
I nodded. "Yeah I'll be ok."
I gave Paul and my uncle a handshake and sat down.
Dad slid a bottle of beer to my. "Thanks."
He nodded. "Figured you needed it" He said.
He's not wrong.
"So what's going on Hudson? Your father tells me you have a problem with your ex wife" Paul said.
I nod and take a sip of the beer. "Yeah. A few days ago she showed up out of nowhere after leaving for almost 3 years. Yesterday we went ice skating with our youngest daughter and this morning she came over demanding more time with both our daughters, but our oldest daughter wants nothing to do with her and I said she has to be respectful of her daughter's wishes and maybe she will come around but if not she's going to have to accept that because she did leave. After I said that she said we do this is the hard way or the easy way so I should make the right decision, but I'm not taking that threat into consideration because she pulled this many years ago when she didn't get her away."
"I understand that, but given the circumstances what do you want to do?" He asked me.
"Knowing Kelly I should wait until she makes the first move because either she'll go through with her threat or she'll see I'm not backing down and no she has no leverage over me."
"Ok. If you want to take her to court I can represent you if you want" He offered.
"Thank you Paul I appreciate it, and if she does you'll be the first one I call. Right now I'm just going to let it wait out and see what she does."
"I understand" He said.
Uncle Patrick turned to me. "Want me to do some digging?" He asked.
"Yes because I've been feeling off about her being here, like she has a hidden agenda or something."
