On my way home I call Hudson.

"Hey baby, how'd it go?" He asked.

"I think I got the job. When got there a little boy was sitting there and I saw ge was crying so I started talking to him and he told me how he was acting out to get attention from his mom that had cancer and was already dealing with her attention seeing children and I said how he should help his mom to make her not as stressed and that way they can spend time together without him acting out and turns out the mother and woman who interviewed me heard the whole thing, but she complemented me about how well I handled it."

"Wow, that's great. What are the odds they heard everything" He said.

"Exactly what I was thinking, but I think that might help me get the job."

"I agree. So my uncle called me and told me some things about Kelly " He said.

"Oh boy. What did he find out?"

"He found out that my ex broke up with her sugar daddy boyfriend 2 days before she came here" He said.

"I know it! I mean I knew there was a reason for her coming here."

"Exactly what I was thinking. Now she has nowhere to go and that why she's here" He said.

I shake my head. "She hasn't changed."

"Nope" He said.

"Have you heard from her?"

"Nope and I hope it stays that way. Luckily Liv hasn't asked about her so I'm not worrying about the impact she has on her" He said.

"That's good."

"Yeah. What are you up to right now?" He asked.

"Heading home, why?"

"Want to come over and help us make cookies? The girls have been asking for you" He said.

I smiled. "I'd love to. Let me change and I'll be over."

"Ok baby. Did you decide if you're gonna sleepover?" He asked.

I smirked. "Being a little bit needy aren't you?"

"Obsessed, needy, whatever you wanna call it I'm proud of it" He said making me laugh.

"Ok, I'll pack an overnight bag."

"Good. I'll see you in a little bit baby" He said.

"Bye Hud."

When I get home I change into jeans and a cute sweater then pack an overnight bag.

There's a knock at my door and I see my parents standing there. "So how'd it go?" Mom asked.

"It went well. I think I got the job."

"That's great honey, we're proud of you" Dad came over to hug me then mom did the same.

I then told them about what happened at the interview and they said what are the odds.

"Are you staying at the Clark's house?" Mom said, but I could see that mischievous look in her eyes.

I can't stop the smile on my face. "Yes and yesterday we confessed our feelings for each other and we're giving it a try, but want to hold off on telling the girls given the whole kelly circumstances."

"I understand. Oh honey I'm so happy for you " Mom gushed.

I smiled. "I really like him, I wish I saw him like this before."
