The day had been long—filled with rehearsals, interviews, and a string of other commitments that had stretched Y/N's patience to its limits. As a member of One Direction, she'd become accustomed to the whirlwind life of the band. Still, tonight felt different.

She had been running on fumes lately, trying her best to keep the boys in check while taking care of everyone around her. But even she couldn't deny that she was starting to feel the weight of it all.

She sat cross-legged on the couch, absently strumming her guitar, her mind somewhere else. It had been a while since she felt like she had any time for herself, especially with the constant hustle of their schedule.

She had always been the one to make sure everyone else was okay, but tonight, it seemed like she needed a little something just for her.

"You good, Y/N?" Louis asked, noticing her quietness. His eyes narrowed slightly as he watched her from across the room. Y/N looked up, offering him a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes. "Yeah, just tired. Nothing I can't handle."

Niall, who was seated next to Louis, shot a glance at her, then to the other boys, all of whom were scattered around the room.

"You've been doing everything for everyone else for so long," he said. "Maybe it's time you got something you really want. Something special, just for you."

"Something special?" Y/N echoed, raising an eyebrow in curiosity.

Liam, who had been quietly observing, finally spoke up, his voice warm and genuine. "We've been talking about it, and we think it's time we do something for you. You've been the glue that's held us all together. You've been looking out for all of us—now it's our turn to look out for you."

Before Y/N could respond, there was a knock on the door. The boys exchanged glances, and suddenly, they were all acting suspiciously busy, moving around like they had something to hide.

Y/N stood up, confused. "What's going on?"

Louis flashed a grin. "You'll see. Sit tight."

"What is this, a surprise party or something?" Y/N muttered to herself, but she did as they asked and sat back down, trying to ignore the flutter of curiosity in her chest.

Then, the door opened, and a rush of familiar voices flooded the room. Y/N froze, blinking in disbelief. There, standing in the doorway, was her family. Her parents, and her little brother. She hadn't seen them in months. The band had kept her so busy, and she hadn't even realized how much she missed them until now.

"Y/N!" Her mom's voice rang out as she stepped forward, wrapping Y/N in a tight hug. "We've missed you so much, darling!"

"Mom? Dad?" Y/N blinked rapidly, trying to process what was happening. "How did you—why didn't you tell me you were coming?"

"We wanted it to be a surprise," her father replied, a big smile on his face. "The boys thought it would be nice to have the family here for once."

Y/N's heart swelled in her chest as she looked at the boys, who were all grinning from ear to ear. "You did this... for me?" she asked, her voice cracking, tears started forming in her eyes.
