DIZZY STRUGGLED WITH the images of Effy. They were burned into her mind. She wanted to see her, she set it up with Andrea for her to visit. It had to be cleared by her doctor. John T. Foster. It was a hassle apparently, it even took Effy's request. Odd, for sure.

Jace had promised her he'd wait in the car. He'd been very clingy, not that Dizzy cared. She quite liked his resistance to leave. It made her feel like he cared and this is what she needed at a time like this.

Naomi wanted to see Effy too, so Jace was kind enough to take them both to visit their friend. It wasn't hard to get some guidance one where Effy was.

Dizzy wasn't the first to approach her, she lingered behind Naomi. She gave her space. Freddie shared his attempt to see her in the waiting room with his painful story telling. He confided in her about their relationship, now lack there of.

"Yellow definitely works for you," Dizzy interrupted Effy's book. Effy had looked more than pleased to see both girls looming around her.

"Thanks. How's the real world?" Effy quizzed as Dizzy claimed the spot next to her. She thought for a moment.

"Fine," Naomi replied in a high pitched voice, joining them. "Well, I dunno actually. Me and Emily, we're all... Since... the... you know, and I don't know what we're doing. If we're okay or if we're about to break up. Sometimes I think she can read my mind. I seriously do. I mean, is that normal? Is that what you... Eff?"

"You think you're going mad, so you came to see me. To see what a mad person looks like, Dizzy what's your excuse, you've been mad," Effy shot at her friend. Dizzy chuckled at Effy's lightheartedness. It must be refreshing to be able to joke around.

"No!" Naomi replied. "No... no... yes."

"Listen to me very carefully, Naomi," Effy began. Dizzy knew from her tone she was about to spew some bullshit, so she silently observed Naomi's features. "You need to get a message to the Dog Lord of Azerbaijan. He's got my toilet ticket."

Naomi let out a laugh after a moment of looking concerned causing all there of them to chuckle.

"Sounds like a bad trip I've had," Dizzy snorted.

"Sounds pretty accurate to your character," Naomi poked fun making Dizzy nudge her. Her focus shifted back to Effy. "Oh, God. What are they giving you? And can I have some?"

"This whole thing with this girl, Sophia," Effy began. "Why don't you just imagine it never happened?"

"But it did," Naomi says to Effy. Dizzy narrowed her eyes at Effy's words.

"How would you heal if you don't process emotions?" Dizzy quizzed and Effy looked over to her friend wordless. She didn't need to go further.

"Yeah. But if you tried to think like you didn't..." Effy attempted to explain again, but the advice seemed like rubbish.
