stars filled the chilly autumn night sky like pale corn on freshly turned ground. it was like God took a straight pin and poked tiny holes on a sheet of paper. the city of seoul was engulfed by the inclement weather. a blanket of aridity and frost started to wrap the city indicating the beginning of the second half of the year.

two blonde boys stood infront of a reputed club waiting for someone to escort them inside while a loud thud interrupted the conversation amongst each other. two heads having a similar hair colour turned towards the source of the noise and two pairs of dark orbs gazed on the scene infront of them. where two young men, on top of each other, bodies pressed in a very uncomfortable manner while one's hand grabbed the other's throat, trying to cut off the supply of oxygen. the scene clearly showed two men fighting for their dear lives right on the street in front of the club where jimin and taehyung were invited for the party.

another loud thud came into the ears of the people watching the sight as the person on the top threw a punch right on the other's nose and it bled. the person on the bottom whinced in pain before another punch hit him on the same exact spot causing the pain increase immensely.

before both the students could comprehend what was going on four gaurds came into sight and forced the two men battling against each other to separate. one of them was dressed in a suit- it screamed old money while the other wore rather grunge aesthetic clothes- leather jacket over white shirt with pants and chunky boots, the whole outfit was monochromatic. despite of the amount of decency in their clothing their behavior was rather appauling and aggressive given that both of them were in a very sober state. ironically their faces were a mess although their clothes were branded and styled from top to bottom. money cannot always buy you manners, can it? taehyung's eyes knitted as he watched the scene. he wanted to help but it was better to stand and watch rather than getting involved in a fight. "you fucking son of a bitch" the one in the suit cried out wiping blood which ran out of his nose. "you should thank me I didn't kill you" the one wearing the jacket scoffed while panting as two gaurds held him tightly by his arms. soon people came running from the club and surrounded both of the boys. it seemed like their friends were unaware of this. eventually two groups formed and the one wearing the jacket was released from the gaurds and got busy talking to his friends.

jimin stood their observing the whole scene but still trying to find hoseok who called him just a minute or two ago. "we should either go inside or go back" taehyung said as the least he wanted to was getting himself into problem. "hoseok would be here any time. I think we should wait a bit. we just came" jimin said having his eyes fixed on the scene infront of them.

"bro what's gotten into you. calm down" a voice said to the man wearing the leather jacket. taehyung's eyes shifted towards the group of men standing on his left upon hearing the words. he saw the one who was fighting minutes ago clenching his jaws while his eyes still glazed with aggression. it's like a fire was blazing within him. "yeah bro you aren't like this. let it go" another voice said to him while his eyes shifted from the man whom he was punching a while ago to a certain blonde who was eyeing him from a distance. his gaze fell on the man standing a bit far away from him but close enough to be clearly visible. taehyung blinked but it didn't break the eye contact with him. for a few seconds they both held their gaze before taehyung saw something, which he didn't expect. with a blink he saw the other's eyes change, as if someone blew out the candle flame within him. his fierce eyes were now cold. the fire within him was replaced by something obscure. his dark orbs looked into taehyung's brown ones, slowly letting go of the fire that ignited his mind causing him rage up so much. taehyung wanted to rip off the gaze but something in him couldn't. the other's eyes intimidated him but a curiosity lined his mind which prevented the blonde from looking in any other direction. the man standing a few feet apart stood quite among the group of people who surrounded him, his eyes locked on taehyung and his gaze softening with every blink. but the aridity of the eye was profound and taehyung could sense it too. no matter how much calm he was, his eyes still appeared blank and arid. as if warmth never crossed paths with this man.
