So, guess what? I've already forgotten about half of the stuff I need to do for the camping trip. Yeah, it's still like three weeks away, but I'm already in full-blown procrastination mode. I mean, why think about what to pack when I could be... I don't know... watching more videos about how to roast marshmallows perfectly?

I did make a list of stuff I need to get, but it's more of a mental list at this point, which means it doesn't actually exist. It's all in my head, like, "Yeah, I'll pack clothes, snacks, a flashlight, maybe a first aid kit—if I remember." That's the kind of list it is.

Also, I've been spending most of the day on my Xbox. Lo and I have been dominating the latest game. It's like we're on fire, and we're both pretending we're not getting way too into it. I think we're getting a little bit of a competitive streak. Every time one of us loses, we start accusing the other of "cheating" in some totally nonsensical way. Honestly, it's like I've forgotten how to do anything other than game and talk about the camping trip.

But, of course, reality keeps coming back to haunt me. I got a reminder from the school about the camping trip packing list, and for some reason, it made me panic. There's this whole section about "appropriate outdoor clothing," which, like, is anyone really gonna check what I'm wearing? Do I need special hiking boots, or can I just wear the old sneakers that have been through everything (and survived)?

Anyway, I'm kinda putting off thinking about the trip for now, because it's too overwhelming. But when the time comes, I'm gonna pack last-minute like usual, and everything will work out. Probably.

I swear, I'll just wake up one day and magically have everything packed. Or maybe not.
