"Ready?" tanong ni Rain habang inaayos ang white coat na suot niya.

Tumango naman ako saka kinuha din yung akin saka lumabas na ng kotse. Ngayon na kasi ang umpisa ng clinical rotation namin. We're now in our internship year, having graduated just last month, and I’m truly grateful that I’ve made it this far. It hasn’t been an easy journey. Those sleepless nights, endless activities, tough exams, and countless quizzes were all overwhelming at times, but they were all worth it.

I never really dreamed of becoming a doctor at first. It was something I pursued due to my parents’ expectations and pressure. However, over time, I learned to accept and embrace it. Maybe this is truly what I’m destined to do. To help those in need and make a difference in their lives. Now, I’ve found purpose and fulfillment in this path, and I’m beginning to see it as more than just a career.

Kung tatanungin niyo naman ako about sa amin ni Yna. Well, I don’t really know how to say it, but it didn’t work out. It’s something we both talked about, and we agreed that it would be better to end everything between us. Maybe we’re really just not meant for each other. I can't keep forcing something that’s no longer healthy for us. We both deserve to find the happiness we're searching for, even if that means going our separate ways. But I truly wish her all the best.

"Tagal niyo. First day na first day tapos male-late pa tayo." sermon ni Sunny sa amin ni Rain nang makababa kami ng kotse.

"Bakit hindi mo sisihin 'yang kapatid mo? Alam naman niyang may pasok tayo, pumarty pa kagabi." tukoy ko naman kay Rain na hinihilot ang ulo sa gilid dahil sa hangover.

Inumaga kasi sa inuman ang mokong kaya sa condo ko na siya natulog at baka daw malaman ng parents niya na pumarty siya kaya pati tuloy ako naabala. Buti nalang at dala niya yung uniform niya sa kotse kaya sabay na kaming pumasok.

"Pwede bang mamaya niyo na ako sermunan? Sumasakit ang ulo ko sa inyo. Ang aga-aga eh." reklamo naman niya.

"Kung hindi ka sana gahaman sa alak, hindi mangyayari sayo yan." sabi naman ni Storm sa kapatid.

"Mamaya na yan. Pumasok na tayo bago pa tayo ma-late. It would be embarrassing if the doctors arrived before us." sabi naman ni Sunny.

"You okay?" tanong ni Snow habang sinasabayan ako sa paglalakad.

"Of course. Why?" sagot ko naman sa kanya.

Nagkibit naman ito ng balikat bago sumagot.

"Nothing. I just thought you might not feel comfortable since we're doing our clinical rotation here at your family's hospital. I mean, with your dad being here and all." sabi naman niya.

"I'm good, Snow. Besides, I came here for work, not for him. I'm sure he won't bring our personal issues into work. He knows how to keep things professional, so there's nothing to worry about." paninigurado ko naman na ikinatango niya naman.

"For work or for your lover?" tanong niya na ikinalaki ng mata ko kaya agad kong tinakpan ang bibig niya.

"Snow! May makarinig sayo." pinandilatan ko siya ng mata habang nakahawak pa rin ako sa bibig niya.

At dahil medyo mas matangkad siya sa akin ay medyo nakayuko itong nakasunod sa kamay ko dahil hindi ko pa rin inaalis ang pagkakatakip ko. Hinawakan niya ako sa bewang bilang suporta habang inaalis ang kamay ko sa bibig niya nang makarinig kami ng tikhim sa likod na sabay naming ikinalingon ni Snow.
