First Day of School

Malias POV:

Todays the kids first day of school. They've gotten so big.. I can't believe it honestly, I mean Beau is going into 1st grade and Jane is going into kindergarten.

I got up bright and early to pack the kids lunches and make them a special breakfast. Pancakes, bacon, and eggs!

I quietly went into Jane's room and set out her outfit for school. I laid out a cute vintage green dress with white knee length socks and some Mary Jane shoes. I kissed her forehead and rubbed her arms.

- sweetheart it's time to get ready for school.

-YAY I CANT WAIT!
The biggest smile appeared on the little girls face.

-okay I'm gonna go wake up Beau will you get dressed for me?

-okay got it mommy!
She ran to the laid out clothes and started changing as I walked to Beau's room.

I laid out some baggy jeans, white shirt, a jean jacket, and a red beanie. I gently shook the curly haired boy and kissed his cheek.

-sweetheart wake up you have your first day of 1st Grade.

-mommy I don't want to go.
Beau is my shy kid. I worry about him a lot but I try not to show it.

-why not? You're such a smart cute little boy.

-Mommyyy! I'm not little, Im a big kid!
He giggles

-How about this if you go to school, and be a very brave kid then I'll get you two ice cream after school?

- DEAL!
He quickly ran over and got dressed. I walked over a put the beanie over his curly hair and then put on his red sambas.

-Meet me in the kitchen for breakfast, okay?

- yes ma'am!

I walked out and saw Jane in her cute little outfit. I served them breakfast and put on Nickelodeon. While Jane eats I start fixing her hair into a half up half down and then add the cutest white bow!

-Okay go brush your teeth and then it's time to go to school.

-Okay Mommy!
They said in sync. I quietly laughed to myself.
While I was waiting I got the kids stuff ready.

-Kids come on! Let's go!
They ran with their backpacks on. I quickly took a few first days of school photos and then we left.

As we got to the school I noticed that the kids looked very nervous. I helped them out of the car and then bent down to their height.

-look at me you two, you are both the smartest kids I know on this earth. Yall will make friends so easily. There's nothing to worry about.

I hugged them tightly and I held Beaus hand and carried Jane. While we walked into the building I felt Beau's grip tighten. We dropped off Jane at her class and then we walked to Beau's. As we walked in Beau started crying.

- Mommy I-i don't want to go. Please mommy.

-Beau sweetheart breathe, listen you have to go. It's your first day of school.

I felt like an awful mother I didn't want to leave him.

-okay but as long as we get ice cream after school.
He said while sniffling.

-deal.
I grinned

When we walked in I noticed his teacher. She was so beautiful. Literally the most majestic girl ever. Just wow. She turned this way and walked over. My hand began to sweat.

-Hi I'm Kylie Cantrall.
She smiled and then looked at Beau.

-oh and who must this cute little boy be?
Beau hid behind my legs and peaked his head out.

-b-Beau and I'm not little.
He said with a slight frown. She quietly laughed.

- well I'm Miss Cantrall, why don't you go talk with some of the other kids?

-o-okay sure.
Before he left to go play with the other kids he got on his tippie toes and I bent down so he could kiss my cheek.

-bye mommy I love you, you owe me ice cream for this!
He quickly ran over to the kids.

-Miss Cantrall, uhm could I talk to you?
She laughed.

-You can call me Kylie, and yes!

-Beau has really bad anxiety and he already broke down crying. I'm just really worried for him please, please, please make sure this goes good for him.

I said with tears running down my cheek.

-Miss...

- baker, Malia baker

-Well Malia there's nothing to worry about at all. I got it in control. If it will not worry you so much I can give you my phone number and give you check ups on him.

She said while grabbing my hands.

- yes please it's, 254-867-2536.
I held onto her hands.

- I kinda need my hands to type that in..
She laughed loudly

-OH SORRY!
I blushed and looked away trying to hide my blush.

- okay well please text me and tell me how he's doing, and if you ever want to just you know talk..?
I said while slowly backing up.

-smooth Malia, and yes I will.
She said with the biggest grin ever.

I quickly walked out and went home. My mind didnt stop worrying about Beau. I'm just so worried! By the time it was lunch time I heard a ping go off on my phone.

I was so relieved that he's doing fine, but now.. now my mind won't leave Kylie out of it. Kylie is just so beautiful.

It finally was pick up time and I picked up Jane and Beau. They had so much energy, this ice cream was not gonna help at all. We drove to the ice cream shop and they told me about their day.

-Mommy I made so many friends!
Beau said

-I DID TOO!
Jane screamed

- I'm so glad now let's eat some ice cream!

I think this story is going to be literally my best one. It's going so well and I didn't like run out of ideas while writing.
Also sorry for spelling or like my grammar I don't have the energy to reread this.
