Archons in a New World (Genshin Impact x Overlord)

Prologue

"Well, that was a peculiar breeze," Venti mused, his eyes narrowing as he looked around the unfamiliar field. The air here was denser, heavier with magic than the open skies of Mondstadt. Zhongli, ever the stoic one, nodded in agreement, his gaze sharp as he surveyed the surroundings.

"Where are we?" Raiden Ei inquired, her hand on her polearm, ready for whatever might come their way. The electricity crackled around her, hinting at the power she held. Nahida, the calm and composed, took a deep breath, "The essence of the world is... different here. It's richer, more complex. Though the reason as to how we could still control the elements is quite strange."

"Lady Furina, could you please get off me." Neuvillette kindly asked Furina as he was laying on the ground with Furina sat on top of him. "I'm terribly sorry, Monsieur Neuvillette, its just I got scared of the sudden light that engulfed us earlier.", Furina said as she got off Neuvillette.

The Hydro Dragon of Teyvat Neuvillette glanced at his surroundings, thinking about how his surroundings are completely different from the usual Fontaine landscape. Upon looking more, he noticed the archons of the other nations. Though one of the first things he aimed to do when he first saw the archons was to judge them in the courthouse, he let it slide since none of them knew what has happened.

Mavuika, the Pyro Archon, has just finished dealing with all the Abyssal Problems in Natlan, has also been transported to this unknown world. "These trees and mountains don't look like those found in Natlan at all, what happened?", her tone mixed with confusion.

The seven of them had been enjoying a moment of peace in Teyvat, Venti was relaxing by the Windrise Tree, Zhongli appreciating the views of Guili Plains, Ei meditating within her Plane of Euthymia, Nahida governing Sumeru within the Sanctuary of Surasthana, Furina and Neuvillette enjoying a theater show together, and Mavuika gazing upon the night stars by the Scions of the Canopy. Standing in this new world, they are both astonished and worried about Teyvat. Sure, Venti and Zhongli are not the ones governing their nations, and the Raiden Shogun can govern Inazuma but what of Sumeru, Fontaine, and Natlan?

Amidst the worrisome atmosphere, Nahida had successfully contacted the Traveler with sheer luck as he was in Sumeru at the time, though this link is severing every moment that passes by.

"Hello Nahida! Is there anything you need? Me and Paimon just had to do a small commission here in Port Ormos.", Aether happily answered Nahida's message.

"Listen Traveler, I and the other archons have been mysteriously teleported to another world, we don't know what the cause of this is, but we are going to try everything to get back to Teyvat as soon as possible.", Nahida transmitted the message to a gasping Aether and Paimon.

"Wait what!?", Aether couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Yes, it's true, please don't panic, that is the last thing we must do. Since the archons of 6 nations are gone, please Traveler could you help maintain the order in Teyvat, Snezhnaya should still be in good hands since the Tsaritsa wasn't teleported like us, I think. But, regarding the other nations, please Traveler, could you make sure that nothing falls apart, and if the people were to ask about our whereabouts, just say there was an urgent business that we had to attend to. And I'm sure the Raiden Shogun puppet still works so at least one of us is technically still there.", Nahida explained. "Sure Nahida, I'll do my best!"

After the Traveler said those words, the link between them flickered out. "And there goes the Traveler.", Nahida added with a tinge of sadness in her voice.

The archons looked at each other, knowing the gravity of the situation. They had to find a way back to Teyvat before the balance of their world was disrupted. But first, they had to understand where they were. This new land had a different feel to it, and the presence of magic was palpable in the air. It was clear they were not in Teyvat anymore, but where?
