Kaida and April listen to Maya's music as Casey reads a magazine, Seraphina drawing in her sketchbook.
"You know, guys, it's awesome having someone else who knows about the Turtles. I only had Kaida to talk to."
"Gotta admit, the whole thing's pretty mind-blowing." Seraphina says.
"Bunch of ninja turtles living in the sewers with their rat master? I mean, you couldn't make this stuff up." Maya adds.
Kaida keeps watch, smirking when no one is around, "Coast is clear."
"Let's do this." Casey comments.
Kaida opens the manhole cover and starts going down, the others following.
"So what's with the mask?" April asks, "It's not like the Turtles don't know who you are."
"Same reason people have worn masks throughout history. 'Cause it looks cool." Casey flips his mask on as the five head down into the sewers, "Ugh. Doesn't help with the smell, though."
"Ugh. Disgusting. How can you stand it?" Maya covers her nose.
"I live down here for my safety." Kaida walks ahead.
"And I had to live down here for weeks. You get used to it." April adds.
"Sick, dude!" Casey waves his hand around.
"Ugh." April covers her mouth, "Actually, something does smell really weird, like...moldy cheese and puke."
Kaida raises an eyebrow, "Yeah, it's not the usual. Let me check it out and-"
A man runs past them, screaming in fear, "Squirrel! Giant, mutant squirrel!"
"The Squirrelanoids." Kaida's eyes widen.
"The what?" Maya raises an eyebrow.
"Come on! Follow me!" Kaida leads the others after the man, but he seemingly disappears.
"Where'd he go?" Seraphina asks.
"Hello? Crazy dude?" Casey looks around.
Maya snorts, "Doubt he'll reply to that."
Kaida looks around, "Something doesn't feel right." she looks through a tunnel.
April gasps silently to herself before looking in the ravenette's direction, "Wait!" she runs over to her.
Suddenly, two sets of eyes glow in the dark, yellow spores firing out at the two girls.
April coughs as she stumbles back, making Seraphina turn around in time as she spots the remains of the yellow spores.
Seraphina turns to Kaida, who coughs as well, her eyes closed, "Kai?"
"You okay? What'd you see?" Casey asks as he and Maya walk over.
"There was some yellow substance in the air." Seraphina explains, "Kai, you okay?"
"Yeah...I-" Kaida opens her eyes, but they suddenly widen.
"Raven?"
"You good, Kai?"
"I...I..." Kaida seemingly looks around in fear before running off.
"Kaida! Where you going?" Maya asks.
Seraphina helps April up, "April, Kaida ran off! We gotta help her!"
April looks at her, only to scream and stumble back, running away in the direction Kaida took off in.
"April? April!" Casey calls out.
