~ Aurora ~

Scott, my idiotic brother, was running his mouth once again...

Last week I had punch another angel in their face because they looked at me too long. Now that I thought about... were they looking at something behind me? Anyway, I might have overreacted a little... a little, right?

Besides that, Scott had told the council about my little tussle with the angel and now I was being summoned to the head council meeting so they could discuss my "punishment". If you ask me, the "punishments" aren't that bad.

My perfect, white angel wings were neatly folded behind me as I walked down the silver road that led straight to the council building. In my opion I'd say that heaven is beautiful, if you look at it through a human's eyes. To an Angel's eyes heaven was just their earth compared to a human. Yes, heaven had buildings and roads, but no cars or stores.

I remember my first time meeting a dead soul. his name was Dean. He was quite a kind soul, always did what he was told and never complained. He lived right and made it to heaven. I showed him around the silver streets and we talked while we did so. I was a reckless child back then and never listened to the heaven elders, but Dean talked to me and told me that I should listen. Ever since then I had tried to change, tried to change for him. Turns out Dean was a lier becuase he's now in hell with Lucifer.

Was my soul just a magnet for bad?

I shook my head to rid my thoughts as I neared the large open doors of the council quarters. The building was large and a little overwhelming with all the statues and carvings. Two large statues at the front stood out the most, an angel and a demon.

I scoffed to myself and walked up the marble steps and into the large doors. inside was the nine elder Angel's that held this place togther most of the time. Aster, the head council, sat in the middle of the circular table that held all the council members. His eyes were covered by that bindfold that he wore to protect his sensitive eyes that had been damaged in the war. The war of Angels and Demons.

"Aurora Grace, welcome." Aster said as he stood. the other council members stood as well and gave a small bow before sitting back down. "Thank you for joining us."

I nodded, my wings twitched behind me when I glanced at each member. Each of them started at me with blank expressions that made me shiver. "Of course, the council always has their reasons when they summon an angel." I said, turning my attention back to Aster.

Aster gave a stiff nod back. "Your brother, Scott Grace, has alerted us of yet another offense." His voice carried authority as he spoke, authority that made me itch for a fight.

"He tends to run his mouth." I replied dryly. That was an understatement. Scott never stopped running his stupid big mouth.

"This is your fifth offense, Aurora." Aster said, dismissing my dry comment. "No angel has ever made fifth offenses in one decade." His voice seemed to carry no sincerity when he said those words. He didn't care. We all knew.

"No angel has the balls then." It was a risky comment but I said it with a smirk. I shifted my wings on my back and tried appearing taller then I felt.

Aster's mouth twisted to a frown. "This is no joke, Aurora. The council has dismissed you childish behavior over and over again, this was the last straw." All members nodded at his words.

"So what? Gonna give me another punishment or...?" I raised an eyebrow. I was now downright confused for once at the council's words.
