This was originally going to be part of a book, but I decided to get rid of that book...so uhhh...it doesn't really have much context here? I'm sorry...I don't really know what else to do with this, I just don't want it to be deleted so uhhh....

"This is really good pi-"
Spider-Man's phone buzzes, cutting him off mid sentence. He sets the slice of pizza down as he stumbles for the phone in his backpack. Once he manages to get it out of the side pocket, he reads the large amount of texts from Skip that went unnoticed during the patrol.
"I gotta go." He stutters out, standing up quickly, nearly knocking the food over in the process.
"Seriously? We just sat down like four minutes ago." Deadpool huffs.
"I know..I just lost track of time, okay? I have to go. Like right now. I'm already late and promised him I'd be there.."

"I'm sure he'll understand if you're a few minutes late.." Wade mumbles, feeling really annoyed.
"Wade, I'm really sorry but I have to go right now. I don't have time to argue with you." Peter states, sounding upset.
His phone buzzes a few more times from an excessive amount of texts.
"This guy seriously can't wait a few minutes for you? Is he obsessed or something? At least finish the pizza.." Deadpool questions, getting angrier.
"Wade, you know I can't." Spider-Man huffs, shoving things into his backpack.
"Why not? Just tell him that you're busy or something.." He complains, standing up as well.
"Wade, if I do that he'll ask me about where I've been. I can't just tell him that I was hanging out with a literal mercenary! And if I lie and tell him that I was with Ned, I'll have to make Ned lie too. I can't do that to him again, that's not fair."
"He shouldn't have to know where you are every second of your life, you're your own person! You're allowed to be independent from him. He sounds like a controlling bit-"
"Wade, just drop it!" Peter yells at him, looking like he's on the verge of tears. Deadpool stares at him in disbelief. Spidey has never yelled at him that harshly before, and definitely not over something like this. "He's not controlling, you are!"

Peter drops his hands down to his side, regretting it quickly when he sees the expression on Wade's face.
"I..I didn't mean that, I just...I'm sorry..."
He fully expects Wade to blow up in his face. Wade steps towards him, reaching his arms out. Peter flinches slightly, thinking he's about to be hit. Deadpool pulls him forward into a hug, wrapping his arms around Spider-Man tightly.

"W...what are you doing?"
"Hugging you, obviously." Wade jokes.
"Well yeah, but why? I was yelling at you...." Peter gently wipes his tears away, hoping Wade doesn't mention it.
"Because it seemed like you needed it. Please just talk to me? I'm here...you can tell me anything."
"I'm fine, okay? I'm just annoyed, that's all. He's a bit overprotective...but he's not forcing me to do anything. He allows me to have my own free time, today was already planned out..." Peter lies, hoping Wade can't see right through his misinformation.
"I know, I know...I just wish that I could see you more. It's been a while since we've actually talked. I'm sorry for pestering you. Now go see him...and have fun on your date." Deadpool says, letting go of Spidey. He seems almost...jealous? Peter doesn't have time to question that though. He yanks his mask back on, getting ready to swing off.
"I really don't think you're controlling...you're a great friend. I'll...I'll see you later, okay? I promise. Bye Wade!" He swings away, waving as he goes from building to building. Wade stands on the edge of the building, letting out a soft sigh. He really needs to stop letting his emotions get in the way of his relationship with Peter. They're just friends, nothing more. Spidey doesn't like him like that and it's selfish of Wade to try and force him to stay.
