MADELYN "MADDOX" KEENE: Madelyn Keene, known as Maddox, is a 16-year-old karate prodigy who has been training since she could walk. Raised alongside her brother Robby in a chaotic home where their mother is frequently absent, Maddox's life is turned upside down when she's forced to move in with her estranged father, Johnny Lawrence. Their relationship is distant and tense, as she barely knows him.
To make matters worse, Maddox is required to join Johnny's dojo, Cobra Kai, where she quickly realizes the environment is just as harsh and demanding as her new living situation. Her karate skills, developed through years of training in various dojos, immediately draw attention, but her fierce independence and rebellious attitude put her at odds with Johnny and the other students, leading to inevitable clashes.
