The Classic Field Trip

TW: Bullying (minor but still)

*Peter's POV*

I sighed as I read the piece of paper in my hands. A field trip. To my house. Yay. Ned was ecstatic and wouldn't stop texting me about it, even MJ was a bit surprised, only a bit. I walked into the living room of The Avengers tower and greeted everyone with a small 'hello' before I made my way to the lab, I needed to have a strong word with Mr. Stark

I walked into the lab I shared with Dr. Banner, and Mr. Stark and greeted Dr. Banner accordingly before I asked him where Mr. Stark was, and Bruce simply pointed at Mr. Stark's private lab. I thanked Bruce and walked into the lab after FRIDAY let me in.

"Hey, Kid. What's up? It's not lab day, is it?" Mr. Stark asked me.

"Yes, it is, Mr. Stark. Did you forget again? When was the last time you slept?" I asked knowing he wouldn't tell me. As predicted, Mr. Stark just shook his head, brushing me off, so I resorted to plan B. FRIDAY.

"FRIDAY, when was the last time Mr. Stark slept?" I asked.

"Mr. Stark hasn't slept in 4 days, Mr Parker." FRIDAY replied.

"Thank you, FRIDAY." I looked at Mr. Stark pointedly.

Mr. Stark sighed. "Fine, you caught me. Whaddya need, Pete?" He faced me.

I placed the permission slip on the table for him to read. He read it for a few seconds and started laughing loudly.

"Only you, kid, only you." He breathed through laughs as he signed the piece of paper. He gave the paper back and I headed to my room to do the day's homework.

*3rd person POV*

Tony and the other Avengers, including Thor, Loki, Shuri, T'Challa, and all of the Guardians gathered in the living room after making sure Peter was asleep. It wasn't everyday that (almost) everyone's favourite avenger's school got a field trip to his house, so they had to make it memorable. They formed a plan and everyone had a role to play. By the end of the meeting, everyone had some form of a grin plastered on their faces. They were so excited for Friday.

Friday rolled around too fast for Peter's liking. He arrived at school and thanked Happy, who responded with a hum of acknowledgment. Peter made his way to the cliché yellow school buses at the front of the school, and found Ned among the crowd of excited teenagers. They quickly boarded the bus and sat at the front, thankfully avoiding Flash, who was being especially annoying today.

"Hey, Penis! You ready to get exposed?" Flash called from the back of the bus. MJ flipped him off and sat behind Ned and Peter, book in hand. Everybody just ignored him, though, which shut him up pretty fast. Peter rolled his eyes as the bus started moving. Ned was talking his ear off the entire ride while MJ read, making small remarks about their conversation every once and a while.

After what felt like an eternity, the bus stopped and Peter's science class filed out of the vehicle and marvelled at the tall building in front of them. Peter just rolls his eyes, he's seen it all before. The class and Mr. Harrington walked into the compound and were greeted by an intern. Peter doesn't recognize her, but she seems to be nice.

"Hello, you must be Midtown High School. My name is Kat, I will be your tour guide for today. We have a packed day ahead of us! So I will hand out your badges and we can get going!" Kat hands out everyone's badges but when she gets to Peter, she hesitates.

"It seems we are down one. We don't usually make mistakes. I'll get Happy to print you one." She goes behind the desk but Happy stops her and whispers something in her ear. She nods and comes back out to give Ned his badge. Flash goes through the scanner first and FRIDAY's voice rings throughout the room

"Eugene 'Flash' Thompson. Guest, level one. Access; restricted. Welcome, Eugene." Flash grins back at Peter, like he's the coolest person in the world. Peter ignores it, though, as he is currently panicking about FRIDAY announcing his entrance. Everything was going the same with FRIDAY announcing people's names and that they're level one, until Ned and Peter go through.

"Ned Leeds. frequent visitor; level four. Access; floors 1-89. Welcome, Guy In The Chair."

Ned smiles at the ceiling as the voice disappears and walks towards the class which was already shocked, boy were they unprepared. Peter walked through the scanner and FRIDAY spoke out again.

"Peter Parker. Full access. Welcome Back, маленький паук." Peter sighs and makes his way towards Ned and MJ. Today was going to be a long day..
