I Promise (A Yeinkook Fanfic) [On Hiatus]

The next day Yein could not attend school since yesterday after school she went to the hospital with her parents and the doctor said that she have to rest for a couple of days until she recover. Good thing it's not that bad so she could make it to the half-year special all though she could not practice with Jungkook since she have to rest all day until recovery. That day all of her friends could feel the difference of not having the energetic maknae with them. When it's break time Jungkook approaches her friends and asks why she's not attending school today

"she went to the doctor yesterday and the doctor said she has to rest until her leg recovers" Myung eun explains and Jungkook frowns

"Why did you care anyway Jeon?" Mijoo teases and raises an eyebrow

"Ani.. Just wondering.." Jungkook said flustering and hurriedly walks back to his seat. Good thing the bell rings and save him from all the suspicion. The day went on as usul but not for Lovelyz since they're not with the maknae. They decided to visit Yein together at her house after school to cheer their injured friend. Jungkook who sees them leaving quickly speculates that they're gonna visit Yein's house and weirdly he wants to come with them

"Hyung! Accompany me to visit Yein would you?" Jungkook said to Jin who is walking next to him. Jin looks at the younger male in shock at his words. He repeats his words in his mind once again making sure he heard it right

"Yein? You want to visit Yein? Are you sick Jungkook?" Jin said and put his palm on Jungkook's forehead

"Aish hyung~~ They're leaving.. Please.." Jungkook said as he sees Lovelyz already walking further

"Fiinee~~" Jin said still confuse at his maknae's sudden behavior

"Weird" he mumbles to himself and looks at his bestfriend as they catch up with the other girls

"Yah! Wait!" Jungkook said and the girls stop their steps and looks at Jungkook and Jin who's catching their breaths

"Can we come? You're going to visit Yein right?" Jungkook said still panting from running

"You're coming with us? Are you serious? You're weird.. Why would you come to visit Yein?" Baby soul questions the boy and the other girls starts to speculate things

"Uhm.. I dunno.. Can't I just come?" He pleads with a hint of aegyo in his voice

"Fine.." Ji ae said confuse and a little freaked out by the boy's words. They continue walking to her house with some of them feeling awkward at Jungkook's and Jin's presence. When they arrive, Mijoo presses the bell and they wait for the door to be open. They can hear footsteps coming down the stairs and after a few minutes Yein opens the door just to be greeted with her friends warm hugs

"You came!!" Yein said smiling widely looking at her friends from the door steps

"Uhm.. Not only us actually" Kei said and moves a bit to reveal Jungkook and Jin who's standing at the back. Yein gasps in shock seeing the figure standing in front of her

"What are you doing??" Yein questions him. She really did not expect her enemy to visit her when she's injured. Like literally

"I just want to check.. I don't want to perform alone on Sunday.." He said and whines a bit

"See.. I'm injured and I will be performing on Sunday.. Now go home would you?" Yein said with a hint of annoyed on her voice

"Yahh!! Can't i stay?" Jungkook said which makes all of them stand there surprised at his words. Did he just pleaded to stay? Yein wonders. Well actually all of them wonders

"I mean I.. Uhm.. I walked this far can't I just go in?" Jungkook said and rubs the back of his neck trying to clear the awkward situation

"I'm injured and I really don't want to argue right now.. So just.. Quickly get in.." She said as she can feel the pain in her leg for standing too long. Soojeong helps the girl and leads her to the room. They all follow her to the room and Jin closes the house door before following them. She slowly sits down on the bed and rest her back on the bed. They start to talk like normally trying to not care about the boys presence in the room. After a few moments, It was silence since no one know what to talk

"So can you perform on Sunday?" Jungkook suddenly asks and breaks the awkward silence surrounding them. She nods and smile slightly without even looking at him

"I'm sorry.. Because of this we can't practice.." Yein said feeling guilty at her partner

"Ani.. Gwaenchanha.." Jungkook replies which once again makes the whole room confused at his behavior. They just shook it off and continue talking with Yein. After an hour they decided to go home and before that they sign her bandage on her sprain ankle and gave small messages. They bid their farewell and walk to their seperate houses. That night Yein sits on her bed after taking a short bath. She looks at her bandage and sees the one that Jungkook wrote. It has his signature and a small 'GWS :)' writing below it. She then lays down and think about his sudden kindness towards her

'What's with him anyway? He's.. Weird' Yein thought and mentally slaps herself after that. She should not be thinking of Jungkook now, or anytime. She shooks of her thoughts and closes her eyes before dozing off.
