The characters are aged up and down in this story so here are their ages (idk the actual ages for university in korea so bare with me 😅)

Stepping into Incheon Airport felt surreal to Hao. The atmosphere was certainly different from what he was used to.
Back in China, he easily tuned into conversations happening around him, eavesdropping on gossip and random conversations.
However, in Korea, he struggled to understand a mere sentence in their conversations. Giving up on trying to comprehend them, the conversations soon turned into white noise for Hao.
Despite the Korean lessons Hao had taken a year before this trip, it seems that it hasn't fully prepared him.
Glancing around, Hao admired his surroundings filled with banners and cut-outs of kpop idols he had admired for years. At last, these idols were no longer just images on his phone screen, but part of the reality around him. Hao couldn't stop the smile from crawling up to his lips.
Soon, his phone started vibrating, snapping Hao out of his daze. Hao checked the caller id- "리키".
"Hello?" Hao answered.
"Where are you, Hao? I've been looking for you everywhere... I'm so tired!" Ricky whined.
Hao chuckled. Ricky was seriously the cutest. Hao's glad Ricky had taken some time off school just to pick him up from the airport. He certainly lived up to his nickname, Lovelicky.
Scanning his surroundings, a large English sign on one of the stores that read, "Innisfree", caught Hao's attention.
"I'm near the Innisfree shop!" Hao exclaimed as he began walking towards the store.
"Ok I'll be there soon," Ricky replied before hanging up.
Plugging in his earpiece, Hao listened to some Baekhyun songs, whilst scrolling through his phone as he waited for Ricky. Minutes later, he spotted Ricky walking towards him, sporting a new hair colour.
Months ago, during their last hangout in China, Ricky had bright red hair that made him stand out wherever they went.
Many couldn't refrain themselves from staring at Ricky. Most of them swooned over his handsomeness while others chuckled at his choice of hair colour.
Though the red suited Ricky, Hao felt sorry for his hair. Ricky had been excessively bleaching his hair for years, making Hao worried that he would soon be bald.
However, seeing Ricky in his new black hair relieved Hao.
As soon as they made eye contact, they both ran to each other, engulfing themselves in a bone-crushing hug. They were overjoyed that they would be studying in the same school together.
Finally, they would not have to wait for months before seeing each other.
"Hao! It's been so long~ How are you doing?" Ricky asked, breaking the hug.
"I'm doing well. Love the new hair colour by the way! Guess I didn't need to buy you that anti-balding shampoo after all," Hao teased.
Ricky rolled his eyes, lightly smacking Hao's shoulder. They both burst into laughter before making their way to Ricky's car which was parked right outside the airport.
Soon, they were off to campus, ready to get Hao signed up for the upcoming term. Afterwards, Hao was given a key, specifically to Ricky's dorm.
Without wasting a second, Ricky grabbed Hao's wrist and ran towards the dorm building, eager to introduce (the very whiny) Hao his new roommates.
Despite the complains of having to run, Hao secretly enjoyed himself. Soon, they were both right outside Ricky's dorm.
"We have 2 other roommates, the taller one is Gyuvin, who's my age, and the slightly shorter one is Yujin. Yujin's a year younger than Gyuvin and me. If there's a Chinese guy hanging around, it's probably Ollie, Yujin's soon-to-be boyfriend." Ricky explained, watching as Hao nodded along, taking in every word.
"Even the youngest one has a boyfriend? Ricky, you seriously have to up your game," Hao teased, before clicking his tongue at him.
"Yah! I'm already nice enough to give you a ride and now all you do is make fun of me. One thing after another," Ricky grumbled, pretending to be annoyed (though truthfully, he didn't mind Hao teasing him).
Hao chuckled as he inserted his key into the lock, unlocking the door to his new "home".

Before wrapping this note up, I'd like to remind everyone to please boycott Riize and SM! If SM can bring back Seunghan as a soloist, what's stopping them from putting him back in Riize? Many SM idols were bullied out of their groups as SM does not manage their idols properly. Boycott for the sake of our idols' future.
It took the OT6 fans 2 days to get Seunghan kicked out so what's stopping us from trying to protect him?
If we try hard enough, there's a chance that SM would finally listen to us. SM knows about the boycott, they're trying to shun us down but we should never give into them. The war is not over, boycotting is temporary but losing a member is permanent! We must not give up until SM brings Seunghan back or when Seunghan actually debuts 🧡
