If You Come Back

This night is so cold, snows are still falling down into the ground, the streets look wet and dump, the road is so crowded, and the people just walking around doing their routines, well.. This night seems so lively and beauty. This is the end of winter...in the Mount Square city.

"Oh my God! Why this happen to me! Rough a girl with her brown coat and a guess handbag in her hand. She is so upset because she has to wait the longest queue in Palm Supermarket, which is near from her house. Suddenly someone surprise her from the back.

"Amanda? Is it you? Said someone. Amanda turns her head to see who's called her.

"Mark! Oh my God it's you, it can't be! Shout Amanda happily to the guy. She knows this tall guy. Mark is giving her a cute smile.

"Hi! Mandy, what's up? It's nice to see you again, don't you know that after graduation, I always think about you, I wish I can see you, and now, my wish is coming true! What are you doing right here anyway? Ask mark gently...

"Oh! hmm.. I buy some snacks and soft drinks, coz me and my friends are going to hold a small party in my house, do you want to join us? Mandy can't deny that she is nervous because Mark was standing beside her and so close to her... she can smell his perfume, his breath.

"I'd love to, but I'm afraid I can't, coz actually I want to visit my mom in this town, and I really miss her! Answer him politely.

"Okay! May be we can meet next time! Mandy really wants to go quickly, so that Mark can't find that she's nervous.

"Mandy...!

"yeah!

"you still look beautiful anyway, I'm glad to see you tonight! Said him again...

"Me too, If you have time, you may come to my house. There's a lot of story that I want to share with you, this is my number! She is giving him a card. And she doesn't know why...

"Ok! I will! Said Mark for sure.

"Bye!

"Have a good time! Mark turns back and he walks away...

Then they are separated, and the night is getting colder. Amanda's hand was shaking, her heart beating so fast, and the worst is she feels sad when that guys disappear from her eyes...

AT AMANDA'S HOUSE...

"Mandy, where have you been? What took you so long?

"I'm sorry guys, I saw my collage friend at the supermarket!

"And he must be so cute, until you forget that we've been waiting for you!

"Guys, he was so gorgeous! he was my ex boyfriend in college, actually. Now I feel sorry for making you waiting so long, can we just start it now?

"No! We can't!

"But, why? Asked Amanda sadly.

"Because you can't forget the guy you just meet, and you feel upset when he leaves you alone! Right? I'm not sure you want this party! Said one of Mandy's friends.

"Yeah, Paula is right, we'd better do this party next time! Said Ashley continues.

Amanda keeps silence, her friends are true, she's feeling bad right now, and she doesn't want to continue the party, at least just for tonight. And of course the reason is Mark. Amanda can't forget him. Mark is her true love, actually. But they have to break their relationship because there are so many problems between them. And now, Mandy doesn't want to get the party started. Then Mandy's friends Claire, Ashley, and Paula decided to go home, and give Mandy a change to think about Mark all night long. Mandy feels so lucky have good, understanding, and sweet friends like them, a minute later, there's just Mandy alone in this cozy room.
