In a small town called "Xighland", there is a hospital where mentally unstable individuals live. All of them have cases of severe abuse, unthinkable addictions, and some faced traumatic experiences which is so sad, or so we think.
On a sunny morning, the doctors had a new patient named Tulip, she entered the room very sad and distraught. The doctors gathered up and discussed on who will check at Tulip's background, "Hey Maxie, I think you should check up on Tulip!", Doctor Rodriguez said. Maxie replied, "I guess I could try, but can someone help me?" No one answered, so that means she will be doing it alone.
Doctor Maxie entered the room 107 where Tulip is resting and decides to start a chat. "Hi, I will be your doctor for today. Feel free to share me things that happened to you." Tulip said that she was seeing these unhuman figures with uncanny faces and they were telling her that her time is running out. Maxie expressed that she might have schizoprenia and is just hallucinating but Tulip insists. They were chatting for a very long time and she finally understands that Tulip experienced unbelievable trauma from the past and she really needs to be helped and checked on, but as Maxie was preparing the documents, Tulip unexpectedly smiles and grins uncanningly and grabs a glass shard from the vase and stabs it in her eye, she is dead.
Maxie is just standing there scared and shocked, she quickly ran out of the room and and told her coworkers. The fellow doctors was also shocked and documented the happenings, as Maxie was heading to the office, she sees her other friendly patient Ru grinning and smiling like Tulip and told her that the curse is in her and her time will shortly run out. She was shocked and quickly ran to the office and got the important papers, she told her coworkers what the patient told her and they checked Ru. But when they checked him, he was just there sleeping peacefully. They now told Maxie that she was just hallucinating the events and she needed to take a rest, she agrees and decides to go home.
She has just gone home and sits in the couch thinking of the events that happened to her earlier, she was very scared and speechless and decides to take a quick nap. But as she wakes up she sees her husband Daniel, his head was upside down and he was smiling and grinning like Tulip and stated that she will die very soon. Maxie was so scared and screamed very loudly that her neighbors were alarmed, the neighbors went to her house and saw Daniel shaking Maxie. Daniel said, "Help me! She screamed out of nowhere and tried to kill me." Maxie was confused and speechless, the neighbors told Maxie that she should take a rest and isolate herself from the outside world.
Maxie decided that she should go to her friend, Khianna's house for comfort. As she went on her way, she saw a person that looks just like her friend. The person smiled and grinned like Tulip and mysteriously went in the back of Maxie's car. It said that Maxie will die just like Tulip and that her time is running out, Maxie was scared and drove very fast until she almost crashed. Thankfully, she got to Khianna's house safely without any major injuries.
As she went inside the house, Maxie saw Khianna sitting in the couch watching a very uncanny video of a person smiling. The person seems to look like Tulip. As she went to talk to her, Khianna unexpectedly turns her head 360 and grins until it reaches her eyes. Maxie went to the kitchen, grabbed hot water and threw it in Khianna's face. She looked back and saw Khianna laying in the floor lifeless and covered with hot burns caused by the boiling water, Maxie tries to wake up Khianna and was successful.
Khianna told Maxie that she was crazy and out of her mind, she asked her to get out of the house and never talk to her again. Maxie was sad and can't even explain why she burned her with water, she decided to go to the hospital where she worked and visited her coworkers. As she went on her way to the office, all of them were smiling and grining like Tulip. They told her that she will die tragically with no mercy and that her time is running out quickly, she got scared and fainted. When she fainted, she saw the past of Tulip in her dreams filled with traumatic expericences and heartbreaking events. But after a few minutes, she woke up seeing the coworkers surrounding her with a concerned look.
Maxie was asked if she's okay but she didn't say a word, after a few seconds she finally responded. She explained what happened to her recently and the coworkers were shocked, they promise to keep Maxie safe and assured that she will not get hurt.
After Maxie returned home, she went to her bed and cried because she remembered what happened to her parents. Maxie's mother and father was killed infront of her, she was just there sitting and keeping all of her emotions in. She remembered everything and slept after that.
In the morning, Maxie and her coworkers were assigned to host an event related to the creation of their new hospital. Maxie was happy and agreed to come! When she arrived, she saw tons of people and also some of her past patients. All of her coworkers have done their speechs and it was her turn, she said her thanks to the hospital, coworkers and the boss. She was gonna end her speech but something unexpected happened.
Maxie went silent and dropped the mic, she shockingly did the evil grin and smile that Tulip did. All of the guests and people were confused, Maxie took the mic from the ground and after a few minutes, she smashed the mic in her eyes and eventually in her mouth. All of the people screamed and were scared, the coworkers didn't do anything because they were also terrified. All of the people saw nothing but blood, and Maxie was laying there lifeless. This concludes the story, Evil Grin.
