Chapter-2.

"Avantika shrivastav....ready to meet me" He recalled her name with a smirk on his face. After sometime his phone ringed with a call. He looked at it and smirk after hearing the other side, he hung up the call.

"Today will be the best day of your life" he said smirking.

After sometime He came downstairs. Everyone was at the dinning table. 

"Beta, come and have breakfast" His mother asked him.

" I am getting late, I will do it in office" with that he went.

"Why do you ask him everyday when you know he won't" His grandmother said her who was sitting there looking sad.

"What should I do maa jii, I am his mother, I am worried about him" She said serving the breakfast.

On the other side...

"Sir he is here" His secretary said him while he was sitting on his office chair.

"Hm" He hummed in response. His secretary went outside and  sent the person inside.

"Mr. Rajiv shrivastav" He said looking at the file infront of him on the table.

"Ye-yes sir" The person responds.

"I didnt know you will the person, I was looking for" He said still turning the pages of the file, not looking at the person.

Rajiv looked at him confused , anirudh finally looks at him closing the file.

"The orphanage from where you adopt her , is under my company." He said making him confuse.

"What are you talking about" He asked confused ,little did he know what he was asking for.

"I am talking about your lovely adopted daughter.......avantika shrivastav" he said making his eyes wide and heartbeat increase.

"Wh-what...she is not adopted, she is my daughter"  he said not wanting to accept what he said.

"We both know who is telling the truth, so it will better if you accept the truth." Anirudh said making sense.

"But why are you asking suddenly about my daughter" he asked making him looking straight in his eyes.

"Listen, I dont beat around the bush and get straight to the point.....I want to marry her" He confessed sternly.

Rajiv looked at him wideneyed. But the person infront of him didn't affect even a little bit.

"What the bullshit are you saying" he asked getting angry.

"LOW YOUR VOICE, MR. RAJIV...ITS MY OFFICE, NOT YOUR HOUSE" He shouts getting up with his hands on his table.

After some time...

"Is it okay?" Nishtha asked showing a purple dress to her. They were out for shopping, avantika didnt want to come but nishtha drag her with herself. She was looking for a dress and asked her.

"Hm..its good" She respond slowly but stop when something caught her attention. She looked there confused. There was a crowd. Some people were standing there in a circle around something but she didnt able to look at the thing.

Nishtha looked at her who was still trying to look there. She looked at where avantika was looking.

"Should we go there?" She asked her. Avantika look at her and nod a little. They both went there, they both went ahead through people.

They looked at the scene infront of them and a wave of fear began to overwhelm their entire body. A lifeless body was lying there dipped into the pool of blood. Avantika step back seeing the terrible condition of the lifeless person. She was unable to process anything and the scene was hitting in her head...everywhere only blood was visible. The sound of police siren and hospital van echoes in her head. She start to fell dizzy when nishtha caught her.

After some time...

Avantika slowly trying to open her eyes. She saw the doctor was checking her pulse rate. Nishtha and their parents were standing beside her bed concerned.

"She is now fine, she just got scared" Doctor explain them. They sigh in relief.

After some time doctor gave the medicine and went from there.

"Avantika, you should rest here and you both come with me..I want to talk to you" he said to nishtha and her mother meenakshi.

"How can he do this?" Meenakshi spoke in loud voice to which he shushed her.

"Low your voice, otherwise she will hear it"

"But why is he doing all this" she asked this time slowly.

"He wants to marry her" he finally said.

"Then whats the problem...he is buisnessman, she will be happy with him" nishtha said in between.

"You dont know beta...he is also a mafia..and I am sure there must be some big reason why he wants to marry avantika" He explains them.

"But now what will we do." Meenakshi asked.

"Marriage?" They all turned behind hearing a familiar voice.

"Avantika?" Rajiv look at her.

After some time...

"Avantika, we will find some other way, you dont have to marry him" Rajiv trying to explain but she didnt said anything and went from there.

"I knew this will happen...thats why I am not telling her...I don't want to make her life in danger" He said.

"Everything will be fine soon ,dont worry" meenakshi said trying to console him.

"Papa, my friends are waiting for me...I will come in 1 hour...its urgent" with that she went from there.

On the other side...

"Maa jii, look what I have found" kashi come with a picture in her hand. She gave it in her mother-in-law's hand.

"Who's this girl" Her mother-in-law asked her.

"I dont know, but I have found it outside his room...is she his girlfriend?" She asked being excited.

"Are you serious, girlfriend and his?." Her grandmother asked.

"Maa jii" she said whins.

"Okay okay...but then who's this girl"

"I wish she is the girl who stole his heart, I want to make her my daughter-in-law" she said smiling looking at the girl in picture.
