I did not see any other person this moment, she is the most important for me, ofcourse. I picked her up and ran into our chamber. Soon I found ammi jaan, maharani along with arya's wife and maharaj beside me in the chamber. The team of physicians were already here and they begin to examine her.
My whole body felt cold. I sat near her and tried to shake her but she was not replying anything. She was not responding. Her breathing was shallow. My heart constricted and I asked Maryam in low voice," What happened to her Maryam?"
She looked at me worried while saying," I am examining shahenshah, its not normal."
I clutched her hand more tightly while she took a breath with so much difficulty. I caressed her hairs and looked at the physicians expecting some answer.
The head physician looked at me and said," Shahenshah can you please give us privacy to examine begam sahiba?"
I nodded and we all went out. Soon Arya, yash, shourya, shreshth and baaz entered the meeting room where we were waiting for the physician to tell us something.
Arya came forward and asked," She fell unconscious because of the tiredness right? I know, she must not have taken care of herself during the preparations and fell ill now."
Yash came forward asking," Tell us shahenshah, what happened to her?"
I shook my head while breathing heavily and said," They are examining her, Maryam said its serious."
"What?" They all looked at me with questionable gaze and I nodded.
Yash immediately ran outside announcing," Do not let anyone out of the royal abode."
"Close all the main doors. Restrict all the incoming and outgoing people. No one should be unchecked. Check each and every single person be it royal or commoner." Shahbaaz announced.
Maryam came out and we all surrounded her asking," What happened to her?"
"Begam sahiba is poisoned" She said and I looked at her in shock.
"This is impossible! Everything was double checked before serving. Even the beverages and edibles were checked right before feeding her." I replied.
"This poison was not in food shahenshah" She said.
"Then what?" Shourya veer asked impatiently.
"We could not decipher till now but one thing is sure that this is special type of poison. It can not found nearby. We are trying the antidotes but we do not know what is exact antidote for it" She said and I looked at her concerned.
