Back to school (before going to school)

Abygaelle's POV:

I'm finally going on Senior year! I can't wait to meet all of my friends again, I really hope we'll be on the same class so we won't have to see each other when we'll have a break or something. That's basically what's keeping me from going insane whenever I have school. I mean come on, we have too much homework and not to mention those people who literally all act the same: same humor, same attitude, same clothes etc... and we literally get bullied for being "different" than them. School is so boring !

Anyway, as I woke up, I immediately looked through my phone to see if anyone sent me a message about how excited they are or if my crush, Hermione sent me a good morning message or something but nothing. (I'm definitely delusional) I mean, by looking at the time, It was six in the morning. I'm always the one to wake up early in my friend group. They usually wake up at seven or seven thirty in the morning. But school starts at nine in our high school and my friends live nearby our school so I understand why they'd take so much time.

After at least fifteen minutes, I turned off my phone after scrolling a bit off YouTube and got up of my bed to go to the bathroom. As I opened the door, I noticed that everything was still dark and everyone was still asleep. I nervously thought that I must've been wrong the whole time and we might be on Sunday or something but as I turned my phone on again to look at the day, It was indeed Monday: the day where we must go to school. I decided not to mind much as I go down the stairs to prepare myself.

After a while, I got out of the bathroom as I stretched myself. I was honestly still pretty tired like imagine sleeping at three in the morning and then waking up at six. As I walked forward, still in my mind, I suddenly bumped into the back of my couch and fell in it. Once I fell, I immediately got brought back into reality when I looked around hoping no one saw that. I stood up again as I heard cracking noises from the stairs, my brother, Gwenael must be awake. Once he was fully down the stairs, he looked up at me as I did so too and we stare at each other for a few seconds before he broke the silence.

"Girl, why are you up at this time? Especially when you're making so much noises. I wonder how mom and dad didn't catch you yet." He whispered as he turned the lights on and waited for me to answer.

"We literally have school today." I replied while i crossed my arms.

"Wait what now." He froze in place. He looked so confused and frightened I would've wished to take a picture right now.

"We have school in a few hours you idiot !" I repeated myself.

"But we were just on holidays like a week ago, how ?" He asked with a confused face.

"Just shut up and prepare yourself before we miss the bus." I said, annoyed.

He directly went to prepare himself while I went to the kitchen and turned the lights on. I heated up some croissants on the oven as I took some orange juice on the fridge with two glasses and I putted it on the table. After a while, Gwen (Gwen is short for Gwenael by the way.) finally arrived as he took a sit next to my usual sit. I grabbed the croissants and placed it in front of him so he can take one. I then took a sit and picked up a croissant as we both started eating in silence.

As we both finished eating, that's when our parents finally came in. They both looked like a zombie. I even wondered if they had enough sleep this night. I looked up at the time and It was seven thirty in the morning. They asked me and my brother on why we were up that early and I guess they forgot about it too. I told them that we had school and they literally had the same reaction as Gwen which made me chuckle.

We got back into our room after that little talk with my parents to pick up our backpack and to leave to go to school. I can't wait to be there! Especially since I know that in Senior year, we have prom and graduation day! I then went downstairs again to wait for Gwen and as he arrived, we finally left the house to go to the bus stop.
