Husker strode into Angel's room and sat down decisively beside him.

Angel: “Long day?” Husker met his gaze, fatigue evident in his eyes.

Husker: “Yeah, just a bit tired…”Angel looked at Husker with affection and kissed his head.

Angel: “Night, kitty…” Husker: “Goodnight…”

They fell asleep together. The next morning, Husker woke up to find Angel missing from the bed. Determined to find him, Husker got up and went downstairs. There, he found Angel and Alaster locked in a heated argument.

Angel: “Oh, shut up, Smiley!”Alaster: “Haha! No way!”

Husker stepped in, his voice firm: “What are you two arguing about this time?” Angel: “He called me a s**t!” Alaster: “That’s exactly what you are, the wish version of Spider-Man!” Angel: “I’m going to take care of him!”

Husker asserted himself, “Hold on, Angel, calm down!” He grabbed him firmly and urged him to take deep breaths. After a moment, Angel composed himself, and they walked into the room together.

Then Angel receives a call from Valentino, instructing him to come into the club. He responds decisively. Angel: I have to go, Husk.  Husker: Wait, where are you going?  Angel: I’m going to work, kitty.

Husker: Ugh, you always choose work...  Angel: That's part of my responsibility, kitty.

Husker: Yes, but you do it too often.  Angel: I’ll see you later, Husky!

Husker: Bye...

Angel leaves with purpose and heads to the club, ready to tackle what needs to be done. Husker's voice was laced with a mix of concern and exasperation as he shook his head, wiping down the bar.

Husker: "You can't keep doing this to yourself, Angel. What the hell happened this time?"

Angel winced as he shifted to settle on a barstool, the bruises throbbing with every movement.

Angel: "I told you, it’s just… part of the job." Husker: "Yeah? And what a job it is. You call that living?"

Angel: "Look, I can handle it. I just got caught off guard, that’s all."Husker leaned in closer, his voice dropping to a more serious tone.

Husker: "You might think you can handle it, but I don't like seeing you like this. What if one of these days, you don’t come back?" Angel shrugged, trying to brush off the concern.

Angel: "It’s just a few bruises. It’s nothing I can’t deal with."

Husker: "Nothing? You’re lucky it’s just bruises! You know what those monsters are like out there. You need better protection or—" Angel cut him off, a trace of bitter humor in his eyes.

Angel: "Or what? Change careers? I like what I do. You know that."

Husker let out a heavy sigh, pouring Angel a drink and sliding it down the bar.

Husker: "Yeah, well, at least try to make it back in one piece next time. You're worth more than just the fight you bring back with you."

Angel glanced down at the drink, a small smile creeping onto his face.

Angel: "Thanks, Husker. I appreciate it. Really." Husker nodded, his voice softening just a bit.

Husker: "Just promise me you’ll think twice before throwing yourself into danger again. You’ve got a lot of folks who care about you."

Angel chuckled, "Where's the fun in learning if it doesn't come with a few bumps along the way?"

Husker rolled his eyes, but there was a hint of amusement in his expression. "Yeah, well, those bumps are going to have you looking like you’ve been through a fight with a blender."
