After a whole day at the beach, where Jace and Luke kept on annoying me over and over about Elliot and how smitten that guy is over me. I just kept on blocking out their annoying bickering and focused on relaxing on what supposed to be my alone time. We were on the way home when Jace thought about grabbing something to eat so we stopped by at a fast food restaurant not bothered by the fact that Jace is wearing a thin white shirt and shorts, Luke is wearing a black sleeveless shirt which he claimed that he looks cool and his tattoos are visible – well thankfully he's not wearing that leather jacket anymore – and I was stuck with my black tank top and short shorts which emphasizes my long legs too much.
The cashier lady was batting her eyelashes and beaming her teeth too much at the two guys I am with and it almost made me chuckle at her desperation to be noticed by these asses. Jace and Luke didn't even pay for my meal and it annoyed the hell out of me. Some gentleman they are. Now I wonder how the cashier lady over there finds these hooligans attractive.
"Nerd, you have some mayonnaise on your ugly face." Luke told me while I was enjoying my burger. I glared at him while Jace just shook with laughter beside me. Some people were already sending glances at the three of us and I think it's because of the bickering we're making. Wherever Luke goes, he seems to gain attention and I can't help but wonder why. He's not that attractive, he's not a gentleman, and certainly not kind enough to be a human being.
I wiped the mayonnaise on the corner of my mouth as I glared at Luke and he just looked amused and happy for the fact that he just pointed some of my flaws. So I eat wild, what's the big deal about that?
"Are you going to Larsen's party, Luke?" Jace dropped a question which made Luke frown before he shook his head. Well, even if he's classmates with Larsen in middle school he didn't develop any fondness to that jerk and I seem to ask myself if ever they had some kind of fraud before.
"Say, while were talking about Larsen, why did you lie to him, Chris?" Jace turned his attention towards me and his question made me think as well. Why did I do that in the first place? I just shrugged my shoulders at him because honestly, I sincerely don't know why I lied. I think I just wanted to get some revenge? If that even made sense.
And in the spur of the moment, I suddenly had an idea. Light bulb! I smiled and started slapping Jace's arm, which made him furrow his brows and look at me weirdly. "I can go to Larsen's party later and I can get some revenge on him later. That's fantastic! I'm such a genius!"
Luke laughed and slapped the table with his hands a couple of times before he sobered up, obviously finding my idea hilarious. I scoffed and crossed my arms across my chest. Well, what does he want me to do? "What's funny about it, genius?" I raised a brow at him but it didn't come out as intimidating as I expected.
"What are you actually going to do at that party to extract revenge, Miss Nerd of the Year?" he asked before sending another episode of laugh-at-Christina's-ideas. I rolled my eyes and thought of something.
"I'll pour some punch on him like what his girlfriend did to me, or throw him paper cups secretly, like a ninja." I sniggered and Jace joined in at the laughing with Luke. They both found my ideas funny and seriously, it insults me.
"The ninja idea is cute, Chris. But you can't get revenge on something like that. We can help you do it, though." Jace pinched my cheeks and looked amused with the idea of stretching my face like I'm some kind of elastic rubber band. I frowned, alarmed of the ideas he might come up with, but in the end, I took up the offer.
But my ninja idea is much better.
"You look hot, Christina! I'm so proud of you!" Amy hugged me immediately as she spotted me walking down the stairs wearing her clothes which is a literally little black dress with lace as the top so I had to wear the nicest black bra I had to match this dress. She applied my makeup and she looked proud of what she did. The high heeled peep toe pumps are from her, too. Apparently from head to toe, I'm wearing Amy, technically speaking.
