Adam was perched on the desk at the front of the room. This was a smaller room off of the auditorium. Typically it was used to change in during a performance. There were racks of clothing pressed along the walls. Several girls were kneeling, squatting or doing whatever they could to be as close to Adam as they could. Kaoru rushed forward. He dragged Kojiro with him. Snake tsked behind them.

"Tadashi, have you gotten the scene we are to do?" Adam called.

"The death scene, Romeo and Juliette." Snake announced.

He passed out the papers he had picked up on his way out of the aud. Adam sighed out.

"I hope this isn't indicative of what we will be preforming." He frowned at the page.

"Not usually. Mr. Bosworth typically gives us these little assignments so he can see us act. The real play is something quite different, often times." Kojiro offered.

Adam looked at him as if he smelled bad. "You've been here before?" He asked in a bored tone.

"Years." Kojiro answered, shrugging.

"Yeah, look around. Kojiro is usually our lead." One girl said.

"Really?" Adam smirked.

"I guess we will see, now that I'm here..." He smirked at the tall teen class president.

Not once did his eye go to Kaoru. "Who will be my Juliette?" Adam asked.

"Who said you get to be Romeo?" Kaoru asked.

Adam barely glanced at him. "Was there an objection to that?" He asked everyone else.

Several heads turned to see Kojiro's response. The teen shrugged. "No, I've done it enough times now." He offered.

"Good, Tadashi?" Adam commanded.

The tall thin skater looked at the expectant women. Kojiro kicked Kaoru, who cried out. Tadashi met his startled expression, but reached forward to draw a blonde woman up to her feet. They quickly assigned other roles to everyone else. It turned out they only wanted Kojiro to help hold the curtain.

Oh, but the only other male was Kaoru, so he had to help with that as well. Tadashi was needed to paly Romeo's bestest friend. Kaoru was fuming at this. The scene had enough roles for everyone. There was no need to "hold a curtain!" he glared as Kojiro seemed to be enjoying this.

It wasn't long before Mr. Bosworth, the director came in. He frowned when he saw Kojiro holding a makeshift curtain. Once action was called, Adam became a different person. It was hard to believe he wasn't a fourteen year old son of some wealthy medieval family. A love struck boy who destroyed his life for a girl he had met a week ago! The scene was perfect.

"Kojiro, why didn't you play a part." Mr. Bosworth demanded.

"There weren't enough roles!" Adam stated before Kojiro could even open his mouth.

"You left out the father's of the children. There were plenty of roles." Mr. Bosworth growled.

"Just note, this will be remembered. Here we want people that work together. No one should be hiding their talents." He cried.

"Its fine." Kojiro waved. "I like to observe new talents." He offered.

"That is the attitude that makes you such a wonderful leader." Mr. Bosworth tapped his shoulder. He spun on his heel marching out. Not a word was said to Adam.

They continued on with their practice for another half hour. Then Mr. Bosworth assistant came around to tell them to go back to the main room. All this time, Adam pretended that Kojiro and Kaoru didn't exist. In the main room, they were informed as to what play they would be doing.
