A cold breeze hit me in the face. I came for one reason and knew who I wanted.

I pulled out the invitation from my coat pocket. 'Ethan' was written across the invitation. I was ready to finally announce myself to her. After five years, she would finally see me again.

"Sophia," I whispered her name. I couldn't stop thinking about her. I was always watching her. I knew her schedule and had all her passwords to her accounts. Instagram, Facebook, you name it. However, I couldn't watch her this morning. I had to drive four hours over here. When I got this invitation, I was astonished. I knew it had to be a mistake. Obviously, her fiancé screwed up the invitations. There was no chance she would invite me to her own wedding.

I walk up to the building tugging at my gloves. My eyes scan the building for any visible cameras. There were none? There were only butler's here and there. I'll ask them about that. If I was going to do what I wanted to do, then I was going to have to work diligently.

I walk up to the entrance being welcomed by a butler, "Hello."

He had a deep raspy voice. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if he was a smoker. The dark circles under his eyes also stuck out.

"Would you like me to hold anything for you today sir?" He mumbled.

He toward over me which is surprising. I stand at about six, two. He must be at least six, six. Although he looked like he hated his life, he stood out to me.

"No, I'm okay." I say with a nod.

Small talk should be limited to the number of people I'll be talking to. If I say one wrong thing, it will affect me later on.

He holds a strong eye with me, "Can I see your invitation?"

I handed him the invitation, watching as his eyes trail across the paper.

"Ethan?" He asks with confusion, "You don't look like an Ethan."

I roll my eyes, "Yeah, I get that a lot."

"Your good to go on in," he said opening the door.

I nodded once again and entered. The ceiling of the building was raised high. There was a huge sign that read, 'Welcome to our wedding'. The smell of coffee and cigarettes filled the air. There were people everywhere, and children running around. I looked around for more cameras, however there were none.

"Ethan?" I heard her say. She sounded confused. Of course she was, she wasn't the one that invited me.

I couldn't help but smile. Out of nervousness I tugged at my gloves. She walked closer, looking like she had mixed feelings about me being here.

I bite my lip trying to crush my smile, "Long time no see, Sophia."

Her face turned pale, "What are you doing here?"

"You invited me?" I played it off like I didn't know, "I mean I was surprised you would invite me because of what happened."

I watched as her eye twitched, and her face turned a bit red.

"I never invited you, Ethan? What do you want from me? Why would you even come?" she asks, getting angry. I couldn't help but watch in awe because,

God, I was obsessed with her.

I pulled out the invitation from my coat pocket once again, "Is this not enough proof I was invited?"

She snatched the invitation from me and darted her eyes across it. I wanted her to be like this. I wanted her angry because,

God, I was obsessed with her.

I watched as she continued to observe the invitation, "So how's your job going? Have there been any big emergencies?"

I knew all the memories came rushing back at her. She obviously hated it. I want her to hate it because

God, I was obsessed with her.

"You can't be here; you need to go right no-" She was cut off.

"Hi!" I was greeted by a rushed handshake.

It was her fiancé. I've seen him around her a lot. They got together about a year after me a Sophia broke up. She was trying to drown out the guilt. The guilt that she felt deep down in her heart.

"Your Ethan, right? I felt the need to invite you for some reason," He turns to look at Sophia, "Surprise!"

Sophia puts on a fake smile. I hated this man. He was a fake. He flirted with other women, and the conversations he would have with his work buddies made me sick.

"Anyways Ethan, enjoy yourself. This is one of my father's personally owned buildings. It's a little bit old so we have to install security cameras in a couple of months. We also have to update other things like the design of the kitchen. Otherwise, I hope this holds up to your liking," He blabbers on.

Before I could keep my head on and swallow all this information, a group of bridesmaids came over shouting for Sophia. "Sophia come on!" They would all scream.

"I'll be back," she said giving her fiancé a kiss while staring at me. She knew what she was doing which was petty but

God, I was obsessed with her.

The man turned back and looked at me, "The names Luke by the way."

At first glance, someone could mistake him as a puppy. If you look closer though...

"Hey Luke, there's something I need to ask you," I asked him, putting on a fake smile.

He tilts his head, "Sure man! What is it?"

"Well...It's a bit embarrassing," I ask pulling at my gloves.

I knew I had him around my finger.

He looks over at a nearby door, "We can go in there? The door can lock so no one can get in."

He walks over, unlocking the door with a key. Suddenly a church bell rang.

He held the door open for me, "You might want to hurry though because we only have twelve minutes."

I nod, as I walk into the room. The room had an unbearably large bed. Over to the left of the room, there was a large closet. To the right was a couch with fluffed pillows. Just looking at the room, anyone could tell it cost a fortune.

"What is it that you needed to talk about?" He asks putting the key back into the pocket.

I had to come up with something quickly, "How did you get so wealthy?"

It was honestly the only thing I could come up with at the moment.

He turned around picking up a picture frame, "Well, it all started-"

Gurgling came out of his mouth. I had my knife in my other pocket. I had to do something fast. They were going to get married soon. I couldn't take it because

God, I was obsessed with her. I was obsessed with her suffering. I wanted her to feel what I felt and even more. She tricked me. She made me fall in love with her only to betray me.

'Knock, Knock, Knock'

"Luke?" I heard Sophie call.

That's when I realized...I never locked the door.
