Rolling out

Brownies

It was kinda awkward in the solar system, after Jupiter had been banished and X had returned, everything was seemingly out of order and time was going too fast, atleast it was for Neptune. Yeah, his thoughts may have been really fast, but he was used to things around him going slow, not going by in a flicker of a moment

Looking around for anything to distract himself from the thoughts about Jupiter and X, Neptune spotted Uranus a bit away, curled up in a ball and just staring at some asteroids

Neptune smiled and floated to his cousin, racing by the kuiper belt, he reached Uranus and almost crashed into him, but Uranus had noticed and ducked just before Neptune would have made them both crash together

"NEPTUNE! That was so bloody reckless, mate!" Uranus yells, sitting back up and looking at Neptune, annoyed, but Neptune just gave Uranus a happy oblivious smile, with his tounge sticking out the side of his mouth, and Uranus couldn't hold in his anger for Neptune long, signing as he relaxed his shoulders

Patting the spot next to him, Uranus grumbles "eurgh, c'mere". Neptune happily crawled over him on all fours, and sat beside Uranus and leaned against his side. "Hello cousin!! How ya doing?" Neptune asks, tilting his head to the side, matching how Uranus' head was tilted, and Uranus gave him a frustrated stare for a moment

"Well, good i guess. Been a bit odd though, I wonder if that X guy is gonna wanna speak to us at all, aye?" Uranus speaks his thoughts, his hand moving to hold Neptunes, which Neptune squeezes gently and holds his hand, swaying his other arm to keep some movement. "Hmmm, nyeah" is all Neptune says back

The two ice giants just sit in silence more a moment, then Neptune speaks up "can we have a snack?"

"Oh, yeah sure! We'll need to go to Saturn though, you know how i usually dont have food on me.." Uranus stands, pulling Neptune up with him, and the two walk to Saturns orbit. They didnt really need to eat, but Neptune just adores the taste of Earthlings food, snd he doesnt get to have it much

After a small moment of walking, they get to Saturn, and Neptune calls out "heyy! Saturrrnn!!" And Saturn turns to look at them, and smiles. "O-oh, hello you two! What did you need..?"

Saturn looks tired and worried, but Neptune doesn't seem to notice it and keeps talking "can we have some snackies?" And reaches out his hands, practically demanding them, but in a kind way, like a child would do

"Ah, sure..!" Saturn gets his bag and pulls out a tray with brownies in it, covered in some tinfoil so it doesnt go bad in the mists of space, and he places it into Neptunes hand which Neptune accepts

"Thank you, mate. Neptune would've gotten cranky without some snacks" Uranus gently pats Saturns shoulder, and Saturn nods, chuckling, although it sounds pretty fake to Uranus. He doesn't get to ponder on it for much longer, as Neptune grabs Uranus' wrist and pulls him back to his orbit

Neputune sits down, and rips into the tray, starting to devour down the brownies like a beast. "Ey, leave some for me will ya-!?" Uranus sits down next to him on his knees and reaches for the tray, but Neptune swats Uranus' hand away

Uranus gasps a bit dramatically, and he moves to be infront of Neptune and snatches the tray away from him, which Neptune gives him a menacing look for

"Woah, calm down! Im must grabbin' one" Uranus quickly takes one of the brownies and hands the tray back to Neptune, who gets back to eating every single crumb. Uranus shakes his head at Neptunes behavior, and eats his own brownie slowly as he watches Neptune, and its suprising that Neptune isn't choking on any of the brownies he shoves into his mouth. "You could at least savor it.." Uranus mumbles

Neptune pauses in eating and shakes his head while swallowing the current brownies in his mouth, and Uranus sighs again, he's been sighing a lot lately

"Welp, just dont choke" and of course just as Uranus says that, Neptune decides to start choking on the brownies, dropping the tray and and rolling around as he makes choking sounds and holds his neck. "AH! MATEEE!" Uranus runs after Neptune whos starting to roll away
