———LUELLA WALKS INTO THE LARGE MANSION, a feeling of unease and out of place filled her empty chest as she took in the warmth of the large house. The kitchen from across the house was very modern built, silver counters with shiny golden sinks, the cabinets a bright shade of white, it was almost like she was in a dream.

Rafe walked just a few feet in front of her, entering the large mansion, Luella hesitated as she stood by the front door step, hesitant to step foot into such a large house she had ever seen in her eighteen years of living.

Rafe noticed how her body language had suddenly changed and became more uneasy and hesitant, a small smile approached his tanned face. "I don't bite, come on." Rafe spoke, his voice soft with a hint of amusement hidden underneath the softness.

Luella lifted her head up towards the blond boy, she swallowed nervously, her eyes were still puffy from the constant crying, she felt so humiliated and embarrassed, she couldn't believe she let herself look this vulnerable in front of her enemy. Luella cleared her throat awkwardly before lifting her foot onto the step, stepping into the house gently.

Rafe watched as she finally brought the courage up and stepped into the large mansion of his. He couldn't help but find it oddly satisfying as he watched the girl walk in so awkwardly like she didn't fit in or something. "Are you gonna tell me who did that to you now?" Rafe questioned, raising his buffed eyebrows.

Luella really didn't want to spill all her deep, dark secrets out onto Rafe Cameron, of all people. She couldn't trust him, not with her life or even with her purse to be exact. Luella let out a small huff, her expression faltering slightly as she heard him question the question she was dreading to hear again. "It was my dad, but it's not biggie. It was an accident,"

Good job, Ella, you're such a great liar!

Rafe narrows his eyes down onto Luella, his expression turning into one of confusion and frustration. "An accident?" He repeated the same words which had came out Luella's mouth.

Luella nodded her head awkwardly, her lips pursing into a thin line. "Yeah, an accident. He was grabbing something and—"

"Your a terrible liar, y'know that?" Rafe made her pause, his eyebrows turning into a narrow, his expression filled with amusement. This was why Luella hated Rafe, his unnecessary snarky comments which were necessary at all, oh and also his insanely high of an ego, if you were to meet Rafe for the first time in your life, you'd know almost immediately that he was a kook, a spoiled kook who got everything he wanted until his father started hating him.

"You're really putting me on the spot here." Luella replied, giving him a look of annoyance and irritation. Rafe's smirk widens at the girls snarky reply, a small scoff escaping his red lips, he then motioned towards Luella to follow him into the large living room. The living rooms walls were a bright white colour as well as the rest of the house, the cushions on the sofas were a light shade of gold with some sparkle to it.

They both then sat down onto the sofa's, Luella let out a small sigh, the slight sting on her cheek still visible to her, her cheek was a bright red colour now which was definitely noticeable, but Rafe didn't say anything for now. There was a very long minute of awkward silence which filled the room, both of them waiting for either one of them to talk first.
