"You'll never get away from the sound of the woman that loves you"

Valentina sung along to silver spring by Fleetwood Mac, she was just in the mood for the song as she sat alone with her brother in her shop.

"A classic."

Valentina suddenly heard the sound of a woman voice say, Valentina jumped, before immediately restraining the woman with her magic.

"Woah. That's a little tight."

The woman said as Valentina held the woman's hands and feet together as she floated her in the air.

"I don't fucking care. Who are you? And why the fuck did you break into my house?"

Valentina snarled it the woman as she got up in the woman's space, ghost Nicholas just rubbing his forehead, his sister had a problem.

"Nice to meet you too."

The woman said trying to get a laugh or even just a smile out of Valentina who very much wasn't having it.

"Name."

Valentina growled at the woman, eyes going fully black as she did, which actually scared the woman not that she was going to let Valentina know that.

"Okay, okay. I'm Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, but you can just call me val."

The woman introduced herself, hoping that it would get her unrestrained, it didn't.

"Nope that's not happening, de Fontaine. Why are you here?"

Valentina growled at the other woman who was also named Valentina, calling the woman by part of her last name.

"Woah. Straight to the point, I like-"

The woman was cut off by the feeling of her throat as Valentina fanned her fingers down to make a sort of fist.

"I am only going to ask you this one more time before I kill you. What are you doing here?"

Valentina ordered the woman to tell her as she opened her fist, the floating woman started panting as she got the ability to breathe back.

"Impressive. I'm sorry. I'm here to recruit you. I want you to work as an assassin for me."

The woman cutting herself off from going on a tangent as Valentina started to close her hand again.

"And why would I do that?"

Valentina asked the woman, turning her back on her as she went to pour herself out a glass of whiskey.

"Because I will pay to keep you on retainer as well as any jobs you do for me. Of course you can keep this nice set up you got going. I'm from new York so this heat is really not for me, but if you like it then good for you. So what do you say?"

The woman asked Valentina as she poured herself a glass of whiskey, from a bottle she'd been given as a gift for doing such a great job.

"No."

Valentina simply put it, before taking a sip out of the glass, the woman a little taken aback by the answer.

"No?"

The floating woman asked, causing Valentina to laugh, of course she was questioning her answer.

"Do you need to hear it in another fucking language. Nein, нет, geen, non-"

"No, no I get it but why?"

The woman who Valentina had suspended in the air cut Valentina off as she started saying no in all the languages she knew.
