𝐓𝐇𝐄 bright sunlight streamed through the expansive windows of the mansion, casting warm streaks across the polished floors. Tory sat on the couch, arms crossed, watching as Brandon rifled through his new sneakers with excitement.

"You should let him have fun," Yuko's soft, cheerful voice chimed from the doorway. Tory turned to see Yuko leaning casually against the frame, dressed in a chic yet relaxed outfit—a cream blouse tucked into fitted jeans, paired with sleek flats.

Tory raised an eyebrow. "Fun isn't exactly on my list of priorities right now."

Yuko stepped inside, her smile as unwavering as ever. "That's why you should make room for it. I was thinking we could go out—do some shopping, grab something to eat. My treat."

Tory's skeptical glare could have melted steel. "You really don't give up, do you?"

"Nope." Yuko's grin grew, her persistence unshaken. "Besides, it's not just for you. Brandon could use some fresh air too, right?"

At the mention of Brandon, Tory hesitated. She glanced at her younger brother, who looked up with hopeful eyes. His quiet smile tugged at her resolve.

"Fine," Tory relented with a sigh. "But don't expect me to turn into your new BFF or whatever."

Yuko simply beamed, clapping her hands together. "Perfect! Let's go."

The shopping district was bustling with activity, its vibrant streets lined with boutique stores and lively cafés. Yuko led the way, her bodyguards trailing discreetly behind, blending seamlessly into the crowd. Tory trailed behind with Brandon, her eyes darting around nervously at the sheer extravagance of everything.

Yuko wasted no time, ushering them into stores and insisting Tory try on various outfits. At first, Tory resisted, standing stiffly in the changing room and rolling her eyes at Yuko's enthusiastic suggestions. But as the day wore on, she found herself relaxing, laughing begrudgingly when Yuko cracked jokes and playfully teased her about her stubbornness.

Brandon, meanwhile, was having the time of his life, trying on clothes and showing them off to both girls. Yuko's kindness toward him chipped away at Tory's defenses, though she'd never admit it.

By lunchtime, they found themselves seated at an outdoor café, the table adorned with plates of gourmet sandwiches and drinks. Tory was mid-bite, finally starting to enjoy herself, when a familiar voice pierced the air.

"Tory?"

Her stomach dropped. She looked up to see Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence standing a few feet away, their expressions a mix of confusion and surprise.
