"In your gaze, I find my home,
A love eternal, where hearts softly roam."Jungkook sat by the swimming pool, dipping his feet into the cool water, gazing at the starry sky. Slowly munching on a chip from the packet in his hand, he whispered a few lines of poetry in his mind. The cold breeze tousled his long hair, carrying the faint fragrance of flowers from the lush garden opposite the pool. The mixture of the crisp air and the intoxicating aroma brought an unusual thrill to his senses.
Jungkook stole a glance at Taehyung, who was sitting nearby, watching him with tender, love-filled eyes. Flustered, Jungkook quickly looked back at the sky, pretending to be engrossed. Taehyung quietly adjusted the muffler draped over Jungkook’s shoulders, pulling him closer in a warm embrace. For Taehyung, just seeing Jungkook’s face every day was enough to sustain him. If he couldn't have his angel by his side, that day would mark the end of his existence because, without Jungkook, life held no meaning for him.
Taehyung's love wasn’t ordinary—it was a venomous devotion. It consumed him entirely, blurring the line between love and madness. Love can make one a better person, but it can also lead to extremes. For Taehyung, protecting his beloved love sometimes meant embracing the ferocious side of himself. After all, how could one call it true love if they couldn’t fight for it?
Taehyung's unwavering devotion slowly broke through Jungkook's emotional barrier. The 20 years old boy, who once struggled to understand his feelings, now found himself overwhelmed with a new sense of clarity. His heart, once hesitant, had been conquered. He now loved Taehyung deeply, though expressing it wasn’t as effortless for him as it was for Taehyung. All he needed now was the right moment to share what he felt.
Several days had passed since that eventful night. Taehyung and Jungkook had returned to their home two days ago, just as Jungkook's family departed for Busan again. His parents, along with the rest of the family, were accompanying Mr. and Mrs. Park, who were emotionally shattered and needed support. Jungkook had wanted to go with them, especially to see his aunt and cousins, but his family had insisted he should stay back to work on his relationship with Taehyung.
Before leaving, everyone sat Jungkook down, explaining the importance of nurturing his relationship. They reminded him how much Taehyung loved him and urged him not to push him away anymore. Mrs. Park kissed Jungkook’s forehead and gently said,
--" Taehyung loves you immensely. Don’t keep him distant and let fear hold you back. To strengthen your relationship, you need to love him back with all your heart. Learn to open up and embrace him in your mind and heart both.
Jungkook had only smiled shyly in response, earning knowing laughter from his family. Taehyung, standing a short distance away, was talking to his father but kept his gaze fixed on Jungkook, his eyes reflecting a mix of affection and hope.
As Jungkook reflected on their words, his heart brimmed with love for Taehyung. In the days that followed, his feelings grew stronger. He spent hours wondering how to confess his emotions to Taehyung and anxiously anticipated his reaction. Taehyung’s boundless love had finally melted Jungkook’s heart, all he needed now was the courage to speak his truth.
--" How much longer will you sit like this with your feet in cold water, baby? Come inside, or you'll catch a cold.
Taehyung said as he tried to lift Jungkook into his arms.
--" No, no! I want to stay here a little longer.
Jungkook cried out, resisting.
--" You don’t need to stay any longer. Your hands are already cold.
Taehyung said, rubbing the cold like ice boy's hands gently to warm them up.
--" It’s fine, I feel good! Can’t I stay a little longer?
