"Hey!"

"Eren!"

"It feels like it's been so long."

As Eren reunited with Armin and Mikasa, the familiar faces of his comrades from the 104th filled him with a mix of relief and nostalgia.

"Eren!" Sasha beamed.

Surprised, Eren's eyes widened. "You guys joined the Survey Corps too?" He glanced around, taking in the others. "So that means only Annie, Marco, Jean, and Adrasteia went with the Military Police Brigade. Everyone else either joined the Corps or the Garrison."

Sasha and Connie's expressions turned somber, their gazes dropping to the ground.

"Marco's dead," Jean said quietly from behind as Adrasteia walked beside him.

The words hung heavily in the air, filling the space with an unbearable tension.

"Jean?! Adrasteia?! What are you two doing here? I thought you were joining the MPs," Eren asked, confusion written all over his face.

"Wait a second. . . what did you just say? Marco. . .?" Eren's voice trailed off, the realization hitting him like a punch to the gut.

Adrasteia stepped forward, her expression grim. "Apparently not everyone gets to have a dramatic death. We don't know what his last moments were like, but he wasn't wearing his vertical maneuvering gear when Jean and I saw him. He died, and nobody was there to witness it."

The pain in her voice was palpable, and Eren could see the anguish reflected in her eyes. He felt a knot form in his stomach, the loss hitting harder than he anticipated.

"I'm so sorry," he murmured, reaching out to place a comforting hand on her shoulder. "I didn't know. . ."

Adrasteia shook her head, taking a deep breath. "We need to focus on what's ahead. Marco wouldn't want us to dwell on the past. He always believed in fighting for a better future."

"Right," Armin agreed, his expression serious. "We can't let his death be in vain. We have to keep moving forward."

"Exactly," Jean said, his voice gaining strength. "We're in the Survey Corps now. We need to honor his memory by doing everything we can to protect each other and fight back against the titans."

Eren nodded, feeling a renewed sense of determination. "We'll make sure his sacrifice means something. We have to stay strong together."

"Adrasteia! That titan! She has intelligence like the Colossal and Armored Titan! She's the same as Eren!" Armin yelled as he and Adrasteia rode their horses away from the running titan.

Adrasteia was frozen in place at the sight of titan running in the distance. It's been seven years since she last saw that titan. . . the same titan that killed her people that day.

"Armin? Mikasa? And Adrasteia?" Eren said in surprise as the three entered the room with Commander Erwin.

"We have discovered an entity whom we think is the Female Giant."
