Chapter 59: You are my Forever

"So, you both were lying to be a couple that day, just so we both should get married soon?"

Aditya asked bewilderedly, while Arjun replied, "Yes Bhai. But we are a couple now."

"Since when?" Zoya asked, blinking her eyes, while Pooja answered, "15 minutes."

"15 minutes? What are they even saying, Aditya? I don't understand anything." Zoya sat on the bed in Aditya's room, with a confused face, while Aditya was leaning along the headrest with his legs stretched on the bed.

"First of all, please enlighten me on when and how did your story start...Arjun? Care to explain?" Aditya asked, while Arjun sat opposite him, while Pooja sat on the sofa bed with an awkward look.

"So...Bhai...you remember during my first year of college...May 17th...on Harshad's birthday party...we attended?"

Aditya thought over it, while he nodded, "Yeah, I know. In Delhi. It was a huge bash...it was at a resto-bar, right? But I left early, if I am not wrong."

"Yeah...so that day, we both..." Arjun looked at Pooja, who looked away trying to pick up something to distract herself from their eyes. She picked up the AC remote nearby and started fiddling with it.

"You both...?" Zoya asked, while Arjun said, "We both got drunk...and we...I mean...I..."

Aditya and Zoya looked at Arjun keenly waiting for the words to come out of his mouth, while Arjun picked up the pillow nearby and covered his face as he said, "I kissed her."

Aditya and Zoya opened their mouths wide, while they shifted their sight to Pooja, who pretended to be ultra interested in the manufacturing of that AC remote.

"Arjun...you idiot!!" Aditya muttered, "I thought you were such a small and innocent little boy, and look at you!!"

"Bhai, don't say that. I mean...I was drunk, and I kind of gave in to my emotions. It's like...I always liked Pooja, since school days. I thought that was just a crush in the beginning...but later when she left to London for 2 years," Arjun looked at Pooja with a smile, "I actually realized that I felt something for her more than crush."

Pooja, hearing all these from Arjun for the first time, felt something different in her heart; a feeling she never experienced before. She always fought with Arjun, and there has not been a moment when he hasn't irritated her. But now hearing that he always felt something more for her, but kept it hidden all the while, made her feel elated, surprised, and special.

Aditya had an awestruck look hearing all that, while he said, "You had such a side to you too, Ajju? You could have told me at least, yeah?"

"How do I, Bhai?" Arjun said with a kiddish look, "You were too much against love and marriage then. And I didn't know how Pooja would react to this too, even if I confessed. We were too much in the friendship mode, that one wrong move from my side would have tampered with our friendship too. Only after I started feeling that she too kind of likes me more, I dared to confess."

"What a sweet love story!" Zoya said with a wide smile, "You are so romantic and adorable, Arjun!" Arjun blushed hearing that, while Aditya said, "After all, he is my brother. It should not be such a surprise to you too, Zoya."

Zoya stared at him, "Yeah right. I know how amazingly you behaved in Manali, when I came to you wearing bangles for the first time. Remember how you came behind me to console me?"

Aditya had a light smirk, "I hope you remember how I consoled too!" Aditya winked, while Zoya recalled that beautiful moment in the room, when Aditya first confessed his love to her.

Zoya blushed, while Pooja cleared her throat, "Well, I thought we were here to discuss about our story. Zoya?"

Zoya and Aditya came back from their nostalgic ride, while Aditya said with a smile, "Anyway, I am happy for the both of you. I couldn't have thought of anyone better than Pooja for you, Arjun."
