The boys held the doors and Scott yelled, "Lock it, lock it!"
Stiles looked at Scott. "Do I look like I have a key?"
"Grab something!"
Eleanora walked away from the boys and found a board. While she was walking back, Stiles darted outside. "Stiles, no, don't!" Scott cried.
He crept around outside towards the bolt cutters. When he was about a foot away from the bolt cutters, Eleanora saw the Alpha. She tried to run out to help him, but was pulled back by Scott. "Run, Stiles!"
Stiles picked up the bolt cutters and managed to get inside in the nick of time.
Eleanora narrowed her eyes. "That was incredibly reckless. Next time leave the retrieval to a professional."
Stiles frowned. "What, like you?"
"Precisely."
"How about no."
Scott looked between them. "Stop it. The Alpha has disappeared."
Eleanora glanced at the board, hoping it would hold.
Scott asked, "That won't hold, will it?"
Stiles shook his head. "Probably not."
"The desk," Scott said, shining his flashlight. A loud growl caught their attention. They rushed into an open classroom and the boys pushed a desk in front of the door, causing a loud echoing screech. "Stop, stop. The door's not gonna keep it out."
"I know."
Stiles narrowed his eyes at his friend. "It's your boss."
"What?"
"Deaton, the Alpha? Your boss."
"No," Scott argued.
"Yes, murdering, psycho werewolf."
"That can't be."
Stiles let out a sarcastic scoff. "Oh, come on. He disappears, and that thing shows up ten seconds later to toss Derek 20 feet through the air. That's not convenient timing?"
"It's not him."
Eleanora crossed her arms. "I think Derek's dead, Scott." She wished she had a better answer, but because he wasn't fully human, she couldn't give a definite answer. "Your boss is the only one that makes sense."
Scott shook his head. "No, Derek's not dead. He can't be dead."
Stiles rolled his eyes. "Blood spurted out of his mouth, okay? That doesn't exactly qualify as a minor injury. He's dead, and we're next."
Eleanora frowned. "No, hang on, he's not dead."
Scott gave her a look and said, "Okay, just--what do we do?"
The boys made their way to the window, deciding what to do next. Stiles thought for a moment. "We get to my Jeep, we get out of here, you seriously think about quitting your job, good?"
Scott attempted to open the window, but Stiles stopped him. "No, they don't open. The school's climate controlled."
Eleanora said, "Let me fight it!"
Stiles shook his head. "No. You're tiny, and I don't want you to get hurt. I'd feel better with you inside with us."
"Cute." She rolled her eyes. "Scott, you have a better idea?"
He glanced at her and nodded. "We break the window."
"Which will make a lot of noise," Stiles said.
"Then, uh, we run really fast. Really fast."
