Stark Tower had returned to its usual bustle, everyone back in their regular routines. The Avengers were gearing up for their next missions, while the Dynamic Six—Peter, Morgan, Harley, MJ, Ned, and Wade—had slipped back into their college life. Classes, studying, and the occasional impromptu hangout made up the majority of their days, with the familiar comfort of family and friends grounding them after the intense battle at the resort.
One afternoon, while everyone was taking a much-needed break, Morgan and Harley decided they needed some entertainment—something lighthearted, something a little mischievous. After all, it had been a while since they had a good laugh, and what better way to liven up their day than to mess with Peter?
“So, how should we do this?” Morgan whispered to Harley, her eyes sparkling with mischief. “We need a prank that’ll really get him good.”
Harley grinned, leaning in. “I’ve got just the thing. We’ll get MJ to play along. It’ll be perfect.”
Morgan raised an eyebrow. “What’s the catch?”
Harley smirked. “Simple. We make MJ ‘pregnant’ and then watch Peter lose his mind. He’ll freak out, thinking he’s going to be a dad, but really, it’s all just a prank. He won’t know what hit him.”
Morgan’s face lit up with excitement. “This is gonna be so good. And we’ll rope Steve into it too, right? That way when Peter flips out, Pops can swoop in and ‘save’ us.”
Harley chuckled. “Exactly. The best part will be watching Peter get all worked up. We’ll keep the prank going for a little while to get the full effect.”
The plan was set. Morgan called MJ over to the lounge area, her excitement barely contained. “MJ, we need your help with something. It’s gonna be hilarious.”
MJ raised an eyebrow, a smirk forming on her face. “What’s going on? Is this one of your pranks, Morgan?”
Morgan gave a sly grin. “You know me too well. This time, we need to make Peter think you’re pregnant.”
MJ blinked, her eyes widening in surprise. “Wait, what? Are you serious? Peter’s gonna lose his mind!”
“Exactly,” Morgan replied. “We’ll tell him we’ve just found out, and we’ll even act like we’re trying to figure out how to break it to him. Then, once we’ve got him completely freaking out, we’ll reveal it’s a prank.”
Harley jumped in, his excitement building. “We’ll make it so real that he won’t even know it’s coming. And when he starts lashing out, Steve will be there to save us, as usual.”
MJ let out a reluctant laugh. “Alright, alright. I’m in. But you better be ready for Peter to get real upset.”
“Don’t worry,” Morgan said, her eyes sparkling with anticipation. “We’ve got this.”

Later that evening, the stage was set. MJ had slipped into the role perfectly, playing the concerned, slightly panicked wife. She approached Peter, who was lounging on the couch, scrolling through his phone. Morgan and Harley were on the opposite side of the room, trying to stifle their giggles as they watched the scene unfold.
“Peter,” MJ said, her voice soft but serious. “We need to talk.”
Peter looked up, sensing the change in her tone. “What’s wrong, babe?”
“I—I don’t know how to say this, but I think... I think I’m pregnant,” MJ said, her words slow, as if she was unsure herself.
Peter froze, his eyes widening in disbelief. “Wait, what? Are you serious?” He jumped up, moving closer to her. “How? What’s going on?”
“I—I’m not sure, Peter,” MJ said, trying to act as confused as possible. “I’ve been feeling strange, and I missed my period, and I just... I don’t know how to handle this.”
Peter’s face turned pale as he processed what she was saying. “No way. How could this happen? Are you sure? Are you sure you’re pregnant?”
Harley and Morgan could barely contain themselves as they watched Peter’s frantic reactions. They had expected him to freak out, but his concern and panic were even more intense than they’d anticipated.
“Peter, I don’t know. I just—I don’t know what to do,” MJ said, her voice quivering slightly.
Peter turned toward Morgan and Harley, who were both trying their best to look equally as shocked. “Why didn’t you tell me sooner?” Peter demanded, his voice rising. “How could you let her go through this by herself?”
Morgan, trying to play along, put a hand on Peter’s shoulder. “We were trying to figure out what to say, Pete. It’s... it’s a lot to take in.”
Peter started pacing, his mind racing as he tried to make sense of what was happening. “I don’t know if I can handle this. I’m not ready to be a dad! MJ, why didn’t you—”
At that moment, Steve walked into the room, sensing the tension in the air. His eyes immediately landed on Peter, whose face was a picture of panic. “What’s going on here?” Steve asked, looking between the group with concern.
“Pops!” Peter practically shouted, running over to him. “MJ is pregnant, and I don’t know what to do. I’m not ready to be a father. I didn’t even know we were—”
Before Peter could say more, Steve held up a hand, his expression calm yet firm. “Hold on, Peter,” he said, turning toward Morgan and Harley. “What’s going on here?”
Morgan couldn’t keep her straight face anymore, and she burst into laughter, unable to hold it in. Harley followed suit, laughing along with her.
Peter stopped dead in his tracks, confusion written all over his face. “What’s so funny?”
Steve raised an eyebrow, his face still serious but clearly amused. “What are you two up to now?”
Morgan, still giggling, managed to get out between laughs, “Peter, you’ve been pranked! MJ’s not pregnant—this whole thing was just to mess with you. Sorry, but we got you good.”
Peter blinked, his jaw slack. He turned to MJ, who was now laughing as well, and then back to Steve, who was grinning. “Wait... What? No way. You guys are messing with me?”
Steve smiled, shaking his head. “I think you’ve been played, kid.”
Peter looked absolutely flabbergasted, his face turning a deep shade of red. “You—no, I can’t believe you did that!”
Morgan, still laughing, walked over to him. “Come on, Peter. You were freaking out over nothing. It’s all part of the fun!”
Harley threw an arm around Peter’s shoulder. “Hey, man, don’t feel too bad. We’ve all been pranked like this. It’s just a little fun.”
Peter let out a long, exasperated sigh, but even he couldn’t help but smile. “You guys are never gonna let me live this down, huh?”
Steve chuckled, ruffling Peter’s hair. “I’m sure this will be a great story to tell when you’re older. Don’t worry, we’ll all have a good laugh about this one day.”
Morgan gave Peter a sympathetic look. “Don’t worry, we won’t do it again... for a while.”
And with that, the prank was over. The tension dissolved, and the group burst into laughter once again, with Peter still muttering about how he couldn’t believe he’d been caught in such an elaborate scheme.
But no matter how ridiculous the prank had been, one thing was clear: life at Stark Tower was never dull.
