India turned out to be a democratic nation after 1947 with the help of extraordinary freedom fighters, but are we really free? (This blog is about emotional and mental freedom)

I'm going to talk about the kind of freedom that I am looking for;

Are we really free? To know that our parents might have never accepted us and that they gave us just with the expectation of us giving back. Are we really free? When women are still forced to choose their job as a homemaker before even considering their choice. Are we really free? When we're asked something and 'no' isn't a complete statement. Are we really free? When men are forced to handle the finances and suppressing emotions just to be their gender. Are we really free? To know that our education system might be flawed and no life skills are taught. Are we really free? To see that we still judge people by their appearance and not their personality. Are we really free? For doing the same work, at the same time, everyday. Are we really free? To express ourselves creatively and to know that would be enough. Are we really free? From the subconscious patterns of how our parents treated us. Are we really free? From our ego, pain, hurt, expectations to know our true self. Are we really free? To accept things and do our best without caring for the result. Are we really free? To accept a no or a boundary from anyone. Are we really free? From trying to fit in, in the society and trying to be our authentic true selves. Are we really free? If se don't have the courage to move forward and change the patterns from how our ancestors lived. If you have read this so far, here comes what I think: I want to be free to flow and change with the phases of the moon. I want to be free from the idea of space and time. I want to be free from any kind of duty. I want to love and do things out of love not as a part of duty. I want to be free to follow intuition and not logic. I want to be free from reasoning everything for my family because sometimes the choices are out of love. I want to love everyone but are they free enough to receive love without expectations? I want to be free from fitting in the society and embrace my true self. So much to think about and yet we choose to keep going after money and expectations from ourselves and others. It is my time to let go off these things.
