There you were, standing in front of room V in building one, the room that Nagi was staying in, your 'soulmate'. You had been standing there for the grand total of seven minutes just staring blankly at the door not moving, you really did not want to go in but a deal is a deal and honestly you would rather give Nagi a chance rather than deal with Sae.

The encounter you had with him a few days ago wasn't pleasant, and now that you know he is back in Japan you couldn't have been happier to have chosen to become a manager, doing whatever you could to keep the position. That includes doing your part of the deal with Ego.

Taking one deep breath you walk into the room in front of you, the loud chatter not stopping, most likely because they just finished their match with team W with flying colors. You were there, you saw as Reo and Zantetsu assisted Nagi in scoring goals, themselves scoring occasionally.

As you walked deeper into the room more of the members in the team saw you, some's eyes lingered longer while others didn't bother looking at who it was. Reo noticed you walking to the direction of his treasure, his gaze on you was sharp, after all, you were the reason his treasure wasn't acting like he normally would.

Nagi was invested on his phone where he was playing video games. He was laying on his stomach, on the bed that they got with goals, phone in hand. You ignore any eyes on yourself as you walk towards Nagi. 'Just talk to him, it isn't that hard. Just need to be convincing enough to keep the job.' You thought to yourself, now standing right beside the bed Nagi was on, the albino never looking up.

"Hey...Nagi." You said with very obvious awkwardness in your tone, you weren't the type of person to talk a lot, in fact you hated having social interactions with random people so you were pretty awkward given the situation you were in.

Nagi's head turned to you almost instantly as he heard your voice, so fast it gave you whiplash and you were just watching. "(L/n)....." He mumbled instantly getting off the bed and standing in front of you, making you feel small in front of him. Yet again your soulmate strings began glowing a red, but it wasn't blinding this time.

'I should get used to feeling this short' You thought, managing to keep your usual resting bitch-face but there was a slight that was awkwardness shown. The two of you just stood there not knowing what to say in silence, growing more and more awkward praying that the other says something. Before Reo broke the silence.

"You two should talk things out, outside..." He was eyeing you as if weary you were stealing his boyfriend from him. 'Are they dating or something?' You thought staring right into his eyes when Nagi spoke, causing your attention to be shifted to him again. "We properly should..." He mumbled before motioning you to follow him as he walked out the room.

The chatter in the room never died down but a lot more stares were pointed in the direction of you and Nagi as the two of you walked out of the room. You specifically felt Reo's stare, it was like he was just waiting for you to make the wrong move so he could take Nagi back.

Once both you and Nagi got out of the room, you two walked a bit farther to make sure no one was eavesdropping, yet again awkward silence took over the two. Well, before you finally got tired of it and broke it.

"Sorry I took so long to come see you again."

"It's fine..."

"What are we going to do now?"

"Huh?" Nagi said obviously confused at the question as he looked down at your smaller figure.

"We are soulmates, so we either accept that and try a relationship or we pretend that never happened and move on with life." You said, you remembered when you and Sae found out you were soulmates.

Sae never really tried talking about it. He kind of just began acting differently around you, even a blind person could tell that he was indirectly trying to get close with you. You never really had the option to say 'no' when he asked you to be his boyfriend, he set everything up in a way you had to say yes.

"If we do end up trying to go for a relationship we could always end things later, it isn't permanent or forced. I'm okay with whatever, I don't really care." You continued still somehow managing to keep your resting-bitch face, because on the inside you were praying that Nagi disagreed for a relationship.

"........We can...give it a try..." He says looking you dead in the eyes.
