Karter had just gotten settled into bed when her phone dinged. She picked it up and a smile grew on her face as she saw it was from Jordan. She opened her phone to read the message.

Jord<3: I miss you. Come over to my place so we can finish what we started earlier.

KJ: I miss you too, but I don't think my moms will let me leave the house ever again after seeing my neck:( thank you for that by the way lol

Jord<3: You could always sneak out;) my parents are already in bed and I'm lonely!

KJ: I don't know if that's a good idea babe. Captain Bishop might actually kill me if she found my room empty lol

Jord<3: Awww come on! They won't even notice! Just for a couple of hours. I'll get you back home before anyone even knows you're gone.

KJ: You're a terrible influence, ya know that? Come pick me up. But park at the end of the street. I'll try to get out the window. I'll meet you in 10 minutes.

Jord<3: The window? You're on the second floor! Why don't you just walk out the front door? lol

KJ: The stairs creak and my mom is a light sleeper! Besides, I have a window ladder in my bedroom. I'll be fine:)

Jord<3: You have a ladder? In your bedroom? Getting into my car now.

KJ: My mom is a fire captain. Of course I have a fire ladder in my room. I'm lucky she doesn't make me keep turnouts and oxygen up here. Drive safe. I'll meet you at the end of the street <3

With that, KJ rolled out of bed and threw on some sweats and a sweatshirt. She slipped into her Converse and walked over to her window to begin carefully taking out the screen, hoping her mothers were fast asleep and wouldn't be able to hear her. She pulled out the fire ladder, which took up residency behind her dresser. Her mother had deemed it "for emergencies only". What her mother didn't know, wouldn't kill her.

KJ carefully opened her window and popped out the screen. She connected the ladder to the window sill like her mom had taught her and did her best to lower the ladder without making too much noise. After successfully locking the ladder in place, KJ carefully made her way out the window and onto the ladder. She did her best to close the window as much as she could. Once she hit the bars of the ladder she called it good. Slowly, she made her way down the ladder and walked to the end of the street where she met Jordan.

She hopped into his car and immediately leaned over to kiss him. Jordan returned the kiss and started to drive off.

"My parents are asleep and won't mind if we go back to my place," Jordan told KJ.

KJ looked at Jordan with a little bit of confusion, "They don't care that it's almost midnight and you're going to bring home a girl?"

Jordan chuckled and grabbed KJ's hand. "As long as I'm not hurting anybody else and I'm not hurt, they don't really care too much about what I do."

"I wouldn't know what that's like. My moms are always on my ass," KJ grumbled.

Jordan picked up KJ's hand and kissed it. "That's because they love you, babe. Sometimes I wish my parents paid a little more attention to what was going on in my life."

KJ laid her head on Jordan's shoulder as they continued their drive to Jordan's house.

They arrived and headed into the house and up to Jordan's bedroom, quietly giggling the whole way.

"Shhhhhhh," Jordan lowly chuckled. "I don't want to wake my parents up."

They shuffled into Jordan's bedroom and Jordan playfully backed KJ up and pushed her onto his bed. He crawled on top of her and placed a passionate kiss on her lips. Things began to heat up as Jordan shifted them up further onto the bed. His hands began to trace the curves of Karter's hips. He ran his fingers up her torso softly tracing his way up to the back of her neck. His left hand wrapped around the back of her neck pulling her closer into the kiss. Their bodies began to bump and grind with each other.

KJ was unsure of where things were going to go from there. She knew how her body was feeling, but she didn't have any experience with sex and she was a little bit scared, not knowing what to expect.

Jordan noticed that KJ had spaced out a little bit and sat up slowly rubbing her face with his thumb to comfort her.

"Is everything okay, Kar? Do you not want to do this? We don't have to if you're not ready. Oh my God. I just assumed you wanted to, I'm so sorry I should've asked first before things started to go further...." Jordan began to panic.

KJ grabbed Jordan's face in her hands and forced eye contact between the two of them.

"Jord. Look at me. It's okay! You didn't do anything wrong."

Jordan was slightly hyperventilating at this point, scared that he had just screwed things up.

"But...but...I didn't.....you didn't....I'm so sorry," he stuttered.

KJ continued to look Jordan in the eyes trying to reassure him.

"Baby, you're okay. I promise. I am 100% comfortable with you. I trust you. It was me, baby. I want to. I really do. I'm just a little bit scared. This is a big thing and I just want to make sure I'm ready for it," KJ confided in Jordan.

KJ had learned from her mothers that communication is the most important thing in a relationship, especially when it regarded anything sexual.

KJ dropped her hands from his face and dropped her eyes to look down, as she was feeling slightly embarrassed by her confession.

Jordan softly caressed her cheek and ran his hand down to her chin tipping her head up so she was looking at him.

"Thank you for telling me that. You do not need to feel embarrassed, baby. I want you to feel comfortable and I don't want to do anything until you're ready. We'll wait. We don't need to do this tonight, we can just cuddle," Jordan said reassuringly.

KJ gave Jordan a soft smile, "You're so sweet to me."

"You're my girl. I want you to feel safe and comfortable," Jordan said sincerely.

KJ pulled Jordan in for a kiss, confident about her next move.

"Hey Jord?"

"Yeah, baby. What's up?"

"Go grab a condom," KJ said with a glimmer in her eyes.

Jordan nodded his head, eyes wide, and quickly shuffled off the bed and to his dresser to obtain the protection.

When he made his way back to the bed he grabbed KJ's hand, "If you ever feel uncomfortable or like we're going too fast, or if you just want to stop, just say the word baby."

With that Jordan and KJ began to finish what they started.
