Synopsis;
Chase, a 19 year old boy, who was raised to be a God-fearing, respectful young man, one day starts experiencing feelings that are unheard of in his family. His best friend, Liam, who was "as straight as can be", had never had a questioning bone in his body. He knew he was heterosexual, and he was fine with that. Chase, eager to prove these feelings wrong, starts subtly flirting with Liam. At first, Liam dismisses it, but he slowly starts realizing that something weird was going on wish Chase. Liam starts doubting himself and his sexuality, which had never happened before. Where would this lead the two best friends? Would it drive them away or make them exponentially closer? This is a story of longing, oppression, passion, and most importantly, breaking out of one's shell.

Strong themes of religion, sexuality, abuse, self harm, suicidal thoughts, and discrimination. This book is filled with self loathing and oppression. It's also includes character development and becoming comfortable in your own skin. Its heavily based on my experiences with religion and how I felt growing up(not so much the growing up part).
This plot and whatnot was thought of on a complete whim so it may be all over the place. No clue where I'm going w/ this
