Josephine Kailyn Marie Sawyer Daisy Elizabeth Hartford, Born on February 18, 1998 is an American Actress. Born in Columbia, Missouri, Hartford moved from Missouri to Boston, Massachusetts when she was 8 months old, when she was older she graduated from Juliard with a fine arts degree.
Her debut was in Shonda Rhimes' Private Practice as Katherine Barnes, a young prodigy studying to be like character Addison Montgomery, she was in season 6 before her character died of an accidental drug overdose. Hartfords breakthrough was when she played May Milkovich in Shameless, and later ventured into movies and Broadway musicals. Then she went on the play Victoria Hastings in Criminal Minds as Spencer Reid's love interest.
EARLY LIFE
Born in 1998, after her twin brother Callum, to Alessia Hartford and Ryan Reynolds. Hartford has described her life as "a hurricane of badness" in past interviews, and her relationship with her father is what she would describe as "non-existent since he doesn't want a relationship with his bastard child", in past interviews as well. She's also said that her child-preteen years were horrible too, due to the severe emotional and sexual abuse she endured from a close family friend, but she doesn't let that define her career nor her mental health.
CAREER
Hartford had a minor role in iCarly (2007-2012), co-starring her twin brother. Then appeared in Enchanted (2007).
In 2009, when her mother Alessia got a role on Grey's Anatomy as Dr. Arizona Robbins until March 2018. But in 2013, she appeared as one of Dr. Alex Karev's patients with a brain tumor with the size of a clementine. On set, she was described by Patrick Dempsey as a "Sweet girl with a bright future."
In 2022 she got the role for Eve McGothlin in Wednesday and quickly became a fan favorite.
PERSONAL LIFE
In December of 2018, her (now ex) boyfriend announced their breakup.
In September of 2019 Hartford announced the birth of her daughter in an Instagram post with the caption "In the dark hours of Tuesday, September 12th, I had a daughter. Welcome to the world Baby Zaylie Arizona Amelie Leanne Hartford, you are so loved!" Meaning, she hid her pregnancy from everyone, except close friends and family.
