Meena facetimed Maya as it draw closer to the evening time.
"Hi mommy!" Meena smiled.
"GRAMMA!" Leela and Amara popped up in the camera.
"Aww...Hi my girls! I miss you guys so much!!" Maya smiled.
She hasn't seen Meena and the girls since the inauguration in January.
"Mom..." Meena said after the girls left the room.
"Yes?" Maya said.
"What's really going on with you and dad?" Meena asked and Maya sighed instead of responding.
"Mom that's not an answer...I'm not a kid no more!" Meena said.
"It's nothing..." Maya said.
Meena knew she was lying and began getting a bit frustrated.
"Mom!" Meena said sternly.
"Meena?" Maya answered.
"Oh my gosh you're so damn stubborn! Just tell me!" Meena grunted.
"Meenakshi Ashley Harris...Who do you think you're talking too, huh?" Maya asked.
"You! You and daddy keep treating me like i'm a kid and i'm not!" Meena snapped. "Our marriage is known of your business! There is nothing going on!" Maya checked her. "Yeah whatever! Dad doesn't just call out of the blue telling me that you might've cheated but okay whatever you say!" Meena shrugged her shoulders.
Maya froze. "He...he said that?" she uttered. Meena nodded.
"Who is it mom? it's that girl isn't?" Meena asked. Maya couldn't believe it. She was feeling angry for some reason. "ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE?" She asked Meena.
"Woah...Mom-" Meena said but Maya cut her off.
"You and your sorry ass father can kiss my black ass! I work endlessly DAY AND NIGHT fighting to keep this country safe and out of conflict and you two think I'm cheating...GROW THE FUCK UP!" Maya said before slamming her computer close.
"UGHH!" Maya ran her fingers through her hair. She picked up her phone calling, Kamala. "Hi sis! What's up?" Kamala answered.
"I've fucked up..." Maya said. "What do you mean, Maya?" Kamala froze thinking the worst possible.
"Lia...Lia...Kamala! I-I-I've been messing with her" Maya said.
"Okay...I've been messing with Kori! What's the big deal?" Kamala asked. "Meena, the girls, Tony!" She said.
"Listen...as long as you don't slip up! your good! don't worry about it...i've gotta go! love you, sis!" Kamala smiled.
Lia: Hey! Just checking on you!
Maya: Hi...I'm okay.
Lia: Miss you😏!

Lia: Mhm...I've been having flashbacks all day!
Maya: Same...my fingers still smell like you👅.
Lia: Mommy...
